Chwalinska is 27-9 overall with a title. She is 17-5 on clay, and her title came at Oeiras in the middle of April. Anna Kalinskaya is 17-10, but she hasn’t been further than a quarterfinal at the French Open this year. This is back-to-back round-of-16 appearances for her, but we’ll see if she can finally make a semifinal or final at the French Open.

Best Bet to Make

Kalinskaya is the favorite at the WTA French Open on sports betting on Netbet, and it’s by about .45 points, on average. Chwalinska is riding a seven-game winning streak into this match. Chwalinska also boasts more wins in her last ten games than Kalinskaya, as she is 8-2 versus 7-3 by the Russian. I think this is going to be a two-set match, and it’s likely to stay under 22 games. It feels like 21.5 is the break-even for the over/under, and this one is more likely to hit the under.

That being said, betting on under 22 games is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: under 22 games @1.9 @10Bet

Sabalenka – Shnaider: Time 6:30 EST

H2H: 0-0

What can be said about Aryna Sabalenka that hasn’t already been said? What superlative could you use that hasn’t already been used to describe her play? She made the final here at the French Open last year, and she would very much like to add this Major to her list of accomplishments, as she would be a first-time winner. Diana Shnaider is further than she’s ever gone in the French Open right now. The last time Shnaider made a semifinal was in January at WTA Adelaide.

Best Bet to Make

Sabalenka is so good that she is averaging a 6-1 favorite on the books. One site is going as high as 7.84-1.12 in favor of Sabalenka. The World No. 1 is 8-2 in her last ten matches, and she already has three tournament titles, and she made the final at the Australian Open to start the year. It’s hard to make money on the best in the world, but I think Shnaider will put up a fight to start before fading away early. Sabalenka will win comfortably and advance to the semifinals at the French Open.

That being said, betting on Sabalenka -6 games is a value bet for sure.

Value bet/ the best odds: Sabalenka -6 games @2.20 @10Bet

Main Photo Credit: Susan Mullane-USA TODAY Sports

The WTA French Open tennis finishes the quarterfinals on Wednesday.
