Head-to-Head<\/strong>: first meeting<\/p>\n Francisco Cerundolo had a tough match on paper against Luciano Darderi in the third round, but he played exceptional tennis and easily defeated the Italian player. Cerundolo didn’t face a single break point, which is impressive on clay. This is a very successful tournament for the Argentine, and I have him as a heavy favorite against Alexander Blockx, who has weapons but might not be as effective against Cerundolo. Head-to-Head<\/strong>: Ruud 3-2 Tsitsipas<\/p>\n This match has the potential to be a thriller if both players bring their best tennis. Casper Ruud’s clay season looked in a bit of trouble when he retired against Felix Auger-Aliassime in Monte Carlo, but he has shown no signs of issues so far and is dismantling his opponents. Stefanos Tsitsipas has also played some of his best tennis in a long time and looks dangerous once again. Both players have a great serve and forehand combination, and whoever can use it more will have the advantage. Tsitsipas’ backhand return is vulnerable, which is a big reason why I will pick the defending champion. Head-to-Head<\/strong>: Musetti 2-1 Lehecka<\/p>\n #6 seed Lorenzo Musetti is almost back to his best<\/a> and is playing with a lot of confidence once again. His hand skills are a joy to watch and are quite effective at stealing points. Jiri Lehecka is dangerous in these conditions, but Musetti at his best will always be my pick on this surface. The Italian will make more returns in play than Lehecka’s previous opponents, and Musetti’s defense would be hard to penetrate regularly. Head-to-Head<\/strong>: first meeting<\/p>\n Jannik Sinner took care of business in the third round, defeating Elmer Moller<\/a> easily. He is chasing history in Madrid<\/a>, and it’s tough to see anyone stopping him. Cameron Norrie is a gritty player and will give his all in this match. Unfortunately, even his best might not be enough to trouble the World No.1. Sinner has a great record against left-handers<\/a>, and I see him winning this comfortably.
