Round 0f 32 action is set to conclude on Day 6 and as ever, we preview and predict all the matches scheduled for you.

ATP Madrid Day 6 Predictions

Karen Khachanov vs Jakub Mensik

Head-to-head – Khachanov 2-0 Mensik

Both players enter this match having won their first match on clay this season in similar fashion. Karen Khachanov and Jakub Mensik both dominated their Round of 64 matches and are all set for a mouth watering encounter. These two have met twice before, with Khachanov winning both although on hard courts which can also mean he got the better of Mensik on his best surface till date. Expect a very tight battle with Mensik’s slightly more aggressive game style suiting the conditions here are at Madrid more. The Czech should be able to flip the head to head.
Prediction: Mensik in 3

Flavio Cobolli vs Adolfo Daniel Vallejo

Head-to-head – First Meeting

Flavio Cobolli enters this week having reached the final in Munich and the Italian looks set for a deep run this week as well. He faces Adolfo Daniel Vallejo who is having one of the best weeks of his careerm having beaten Grigor Dimitrov and Learner Tien this week. As well as Vallejo has played, none of his opponents have been as in form as Cobolli especially on clay. Expect Cobolli to win easily with his heavy groundstrokes proving to be lethal.
Prediction: Cobolli in 2

<smartframe-embed class="smartframe_wp_element" customer-id="b0c95bc04383cef69c6b47df872135cf" image-id="WmOBgI0w53nn" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 5528px; aspect-ratio: 5528/3685;" ></smartframe-embed>

Daniil Medvedev vs Nikolai Budkov Kjaer

Head-to-head – First Meeting

Daniil Medvedev will be highly relieved after the drubbing he took in Monte Carlo. The 2021 US Open champion fought well and hard to take out Fabian Marozsan who is a dangerous floater these days in the draw. Medvedev now faces the relatively unknown qualifier from Norway, Nikolai Budkov Kjaer. The Norwegian has had a great week, possibly the best yet in his career as the 19 year old navigated qualifiers and then took out Denis Shapovalov in straight sets. That being said, Medvedev looks ready to fight and it will be tough for the inexperienced Kjaer to trouble Medvedev’s defense.
Prediction: Medvedev in 2

Alexander Zverev vs Terence Atmane

Head-to-head – First Meeting

This should be an interesting matchup between the second seed, Alexander Zverev, and the flamboyant Frenchman Terence Atmane. The German did take three sets to win his first round match but overall he looked pretty solid from the baseline as he usually does. Atmane is a play who likes to take
Prediction: Zverev in 3

Main Photo Credit: Susan Mullane-USA TODAY Sports

The ATP Madrid Masters 1000 tournament is into its 2026 edition, and Day 6 promises to be another fantastic day of tennis.
