ATP Cup Final Predictions Including Novak Djokovic vs Rafael Nadal

Nadal Djokovic

It’s Final Day here at the inaugural ATP Cup. Serbia will be taking on Spain, as the rivalry between Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal will be extended by another chapter.

ATP Cup Final Prediction

Roberto Bautista-Agut vs Dusan Lajovic

Head-to-head: Bautista-Agut leads 3-0

Both players have had a sublime week here in Australia. Roberto Bautista-Agustin has not lost a match and was impressive beating Kyrgios easily in straight sets. The same could be said for Lajovic, as he has been playing some of the best tennis of his life at the ATP Cup.

It will be close this one as both like to grind down opponents. But with the head-to-head in the Spaniard’s favour, the Spaniard winning here again is a big possibility. Expect Bautista-Agut to dominate and control the match using his forehand to break down Lajovic’s game.

Novak Djokovic vs Rafael Nadal

Head-to-head: Djokovic leads 28-26

Both players are playing extremely well this week. Nadal has only stumbled in one match, losing to Belgium’s David Goffin in straight sets. Djokovic has not been at his very best this week but has managed to get through all his match with victories in the end.

The world no. 1, Rafael Nadal will have a point to prove against Novak Djokovic after being battered by the Serb in Melbourne last year. The Spaniard will have sat down with his team and analysed the match and see what he could change in his game to break down Djokovic’s game.
Prediction: Nadal in 3
