Bradley was recently the manager of\u00a0<strong>English Premier League\u00a0<\/strong>side\u00a0Swansea City where he held the post for less than three months. United<\/strong> when they won back-to-back\u00a0<strong>MLS Cup<\/strong><strong>s\u00a0<\/strong>in 1996 and 1997. Afterward, Bradley was hired as head coach for the\u00a0<strong>Chicago Fire\u00a0<\/strong>for their expansion season in 1998. He led the Fire to their best first season in league history, in which they won both the MLS Cup and\u00a0<strong>Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>After five years in Bridgeview, he went to coach the\u00a0<strong>New York MetroStars\u00a0<\/strong>(known now as the New York Red Bulls) and spent almost three full seasons at the helm before he was fired after the 2005 season. Bradley went on to coach Chivas USA, who he led to a playoff berth after a very poor expansion season.<\/p>\n<p>Father of\u00a0USMNT and\u00a0<strong>Toronto FC C<\/strong>aptain\u00a0<strong>Michael Bradley,\u00a0<\/strong>his resume shows a 43-25-12 record in 80 games when he was the head coach of the national team.
