FC Edmonton<\/a> is expecting to sign another player in the upcoming week, perhaps as early as Monday.<\/span><\/p>\n

Earlier in the year, FC Edmonton head coach <\/span>Jeff Paulus spoke exclusively to Last Word on Soccer<\/a>.<\/span>\u00a0During that interview, Paulus stated that one of his players would be returning to school in the fall. He was hoping at the time to sign a European player in July.<\/span><\/p>\n

After the <\/span>match against Valour FC<\/span><\/a> on Wednesday, Last Word on Soccer followed up with Paulus about these expected player moves.\u00a0<\/span>Paulus indicate that no players are heading back to school.<\/span><\/p>\n

To follow up about whether FC Edmonton is still looking at signing someone, Paulus committed, \u201cI can assure you we will be adding a player. Hopefully, I can have someone king of sorted out by Monday. We hope to make a big addition.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

In regards to who this player is or details about the player, Paulus was staying understandably tight-lipped.<\/span><\/p>\n

The #Eddies<\/a> are kicking back for the weekend but are \ud83d\udcaf for next Saturdays's home match vs the \ud83d\udd28.<\/p>\n
