Forge FC have announced the club has signed Swedish midfielder\u00a0Alexander Achinioti J\u00f6nsson<\/a>. While the terms have been secured, Achinioti J\u00f6nsson\u2019s addition to the squad is “pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and necessary work visa documentation”.<\/p>\n

What to expect from Alexander Achinioti J\u00f6nsson?<\/h2>\n

\u201cAlexander comes to us not only at a very good football age, but coupled with considerable experience at the highest levels of Swedish football. He will bring very good <\/em>ball winning qualities and a relentless work ethic to our midfield.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Achinioti J\u00f6nsson has a great mix of youth\u00a0\u2014 at 22, he’s an ideal age\u00a0\u2014 but also has over 100 matches under his belt having played in the top Swedish Allsvenskan and Superettan leagues.\u00a0For IFK Varnamo in 2018, the stalwart chipped in scoring six goals and posting one assist (32 matches).<\/p>\n

The Hittarp, Sweden native has also featured at Helsingborgs IF (2012-17) and Hittarps IK (2011-12) throughout his career. He brings experience having represented Sweden at the under-19 international level.<\/p>\n
