On Tuesday, Volkswagen Canada and the Canadian Premier League struck a multi-year agreement that will have the two working together on national and promotional assets as well as jersey sponsorship for the new Canadian-based soccer league.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Until now, the many talented young Canadian soccer players had few options available, being forced to look abroad for a chance to ply their trade professionally. All that has changed as fans are the verge of their first look at the new Canadian Premier League set to begin in April<\/a>.<\/p>\n

With the recent announcement of Volkswagen Canada as the league’s new partner, a sense of legitimacy has been felt amongst the league’s growing fanbase.<\/p>\n
