According to the Spirit, the injury occurred near the end of Washington&#8217;s 3-2 loss.<\/p>\n<h1><strong>Mallory Pugh, Ali Krieger to Miss USWNT Friendlies Due to Injury<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p>There is no set date for how much time Pugh will miss. While she has been ruled out for the United States&#8217; two friendlies against China, she will also miss this Saturday&#8217;s Spirit match against the Chicago Red Stars.<\/p>\n<p>Pugh is on crutches, as they brought them out when the injury occurred against Houston.<\/p>\n<p>Spirit Head Coach Jim Gabarra did not speak on the injury but did talk about the upcoming match against Chicago. The match will be held at the Maryland SoccerPlex, which Gabarra called a &#8220;great environment.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It\u2019s fan friendly, it\u2019s very close, it\u2019s very intimate,&#8221; Gabarra said. &#8220;You really feel support of the Spirit Squadron and all of our fans. We\u2019re looking forward to getting out there on national television and having a great day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Spirit will face Chicago on Lifetime TV as part of the Lifetime Game of the Week. Specifically, she suffered the injury in the 66th minute of Orlando&#8217;s match against Chicago on Saturday. Orlando ended up winning the match 5-2.<\/p>\n<p>Krieger&#8217;s active minutes streak broke the league record on Saturday. Since her arrival to Orlando before the start of the 2017 season, Krieger has featured for 3,227 consecutive minutes.<\/p>\n<p>The streak is currently the longest active streak in the NWSL.<\/p>\n<p>Orlando will face off against the Seattle Reign FC on Sunday. The match will be held in Seattle at Memorial Park.
