Based on how we’ve been playing recently (and especially tonight in Seattle), I’m not sure we deserve that chance of being embarrassed in the playoffs.

One Last Chance

Decision Day 2017 will be one of the wildest ones in recent times. The Eastern Conference has their teams, just unsure of placement. The Western Conference though has left tons of uncertainty and excitement (or anger/fear/concern) for soccer fans to look forward to. Dallas will head back home to prepare to face a LA Galaxy side that has really disappointed this season and will not be in the 2017 Playoffs.

Dallas must find three points at home. I’ve said this a lot over the last several months, but it will be the last time for 2017. With San Jose earning a point away in Vancouver tonight, they have jumped ahead of Dallas in the standings based on total wins. And for San Jose, they will head back home to face Minnesota United in their final regular season game.

All the chips are on the table now. Teams have made the final turn and are heading towards the checkered flag. Dallas has run out of gas and are limping to the finish line. Can they find a way into the playoffs? And if they do happen to do so, is there even a chance they could advance past the first round? Decision Day cometh, and that right soon.

Embed from Getty Images

SEATTLE, WA (October 15, 2017) – FC Dallas headed into Seattle knowing what needed to be done. Three points against Seattle Sounders FC is no easy feat, but they had to find a way. Instead, FC Dallas lose in Seattle, taking an embarrassing 4-0 whooping. Will Bruin and company proved to be too much for […]

[15,119,3,22
1321,96,57,1430
post-10483","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-fcd","category-mls","category-news","category-sounders","tag-2017-mls-regular-season","tag-fc-dallas","tag-mls","tag-seattle-sounders-fc
["GET
