Pro Foul Podcast: Who doesn’t love NWSL Challenge Cup chaos?

Goodbye old podcast, hello new! R.J. Allen and Rachael Kriger have scrapped The Best We Know and introduce the Pro Foul Podcast, along with André Carlisle and Ian Knighton.
NWSL Challenge Cup Chaos

Podcast — Welcome to the Pro Foul Podcast, an NWSL podcast and hub!

That’s right, folks. Rachael Kriger and R.J. Allen have decided to scrap their old podcast and revamp. Also, they’re bringing a friend! André Carlisle joins the chaos and completes the trio known as the Pro Foul podcasters.

Ian Knighton of Backline Soccer joins the show as its producer.

In the first episode of the Pro Foul Podcast, the trio talk about the NWSL Challenge Cup. The episode is broken up into topics, ranging from the national anthem controversies to Costa Rican history not being made — much to Rachael’s chagrin.

Episode 1: Three Podcasters Sit Down for an Episode

  • First Topic: The NWSL Challenge Cup and the Playoff Matchups
  • Second Topic: The NWSL Wants Fans because $$$
  • Third Topic: The National Anthem
  • Fourth Topic: A new name and new colors for Racing Louisville
  • Fifth Topic: Two teams with Costa Rican players

André Carlisle writes some, tweets a lot and tires not to let soccer ruin his life — and he often fails at all three. Still, the sport is his favorite thing in the world and it is an honor to have it step on his emotions. If you want to read things that André writes, or laugh at his angst, you can find him on Twitter @not_carlisle, covering the Washington Spirit at Black and Red United or writing about Chelsea at We Ain’t Got Not History.

Also, like any dejected wannabe columnist in this era of digital media, he also has a newsletter called No Love in Fear — though he’s no quite sure what he’s doing with it yet. You have been warned!
