Hot topics, like possible expansion teams for the CPL, the link between the league and the Canadian Championship, salary cap, attendance and the inaugural game between Forge FC and York9 were discussed. Also, Thomas and Pat talked over the overall quality in the field we saw this year.

But not only they talked about the league. Canada’s National Team was also a subject in their conversation, especially with CONCACAF Nations League and World Cup qualification still a delicate matter for Canadian soccer fans.
