USA Canada Nations League

PODCAST – Hey guys! How is it going? Now that the much-anticipated game between the United States and Canadian Men’s National Teams took place, it’s time to discuss what happened on the field. With that in mind, Thomas Nef was joined by Sportsnet reporter Peter Galindo. They both had a rich conversation about the hosts’ virtues and the guests’ faults on the game played in Orlando, Florida.

The guys pointed out all the key aspects of the match, most of them from a CanMNT point of view on what went wrong and what needed to be improved.

Was starting Alphonso Davies as left back a good call from John Herdman? Did the slippery pitch play its part in the final result? Was the horrendous Canadian first half due to their own mistakes, or was the United States team extremely prolific? All those questions were answered by Thomas and Peter.

If you wanted to know what this 4-1 defeat to the U.S. meant in Canada’s soccer landscape, and its possibilities of making it to the next World Cup, don’t miss this episode! We have more great content in the works as well for 2020.
