“Rolf is a talented outside back who has had success playing in top leagues in Europe and for the Venezuelan national team. We think highly of his soccer pedigree, his versatility and the skills he brings to our team. He will be another piece in building our backline. We are excited he is joining the LA Galaxy team,” said LA Galaxy Head Coach Sigi Schmid.

This seems like a good singing. Feltscher has a good international pedigree. Having played on Copa America means he has some sense of the travel associated with playing in the United States as well as the CONCACAF style of play. Most importantly, he’s a natural right back who appears to be good enough to walk in and be the regular starter.

The Galaxy have a new center back. They now have a right back. If they can re-sign Ashley Cole and lock down David Bingham, the defense will be set for 2018.
