This week, Bill and Joe unpack the New York Red Bulls II difficult week. It started last Thursday at Charlotte Independence. Charlotte had been struggling at the bottom the table and scored just three goals on the season. New York helped solve the issue for Charlotte, surrendering a poorly fought 5-1 loss. The Red Bulls continue to falter on the road.

Raising Bulls – Episode 36 – Andrew Tinari

At home wasn’t much better for the team this week. New York dropped their second game of the week to LA Galaxy II. While the result was much better than their sister club fared against LA, the Red Bulls let a lead slip away for the fifth time in nine games this season. It was tough to pick out the positives, but not impossible.

Next up, Andrew Tinari joined us to chat. Tinari has been local since birth on Long Island. He shared the story of coming up through youth programs and national team call-ups, as well as how and why he chose to go to Columbia University. Tinari made he second start of the season this week against Los Dos.

Finally, we preview the game this Saturday night against Ottawa Fury FC. Ottawa merged with FC Montreal in the offseason and joined the USL from NASL. This season hasn’t been very kind to Ottawa so far, but they do boast some impressive performances over the last couple of games. The Red Bulls have been very kind to teams in the lower half of the table so far this year; so don’t write off Ottawa’s chances just yet.
