To open, it’s all Designated Players. Freddy Montero is back in MLS, heading to the Vancouver Whitecaps. The guys talk about the move, what it means for Cascadia, and we review some salty Brad Evans tweets. Our good friend Nic Hendrickson shares his views on Montero joining and how he’ll work with Kekuta Manneh.

The boys then talk about NYCFC’s new No. 10 Maxi Moralez. We talk about his role, NYCFC’s system, and what this means for Tommy McNamara.

In the second segment, we’re talk about more news! Ali Curtis and the New York Red Bulls have agreed to part ways. We talk about how this could have gone down, why it went down, and if there’s more to this for the Red Bulls. Matt puts on his tinfoil hat and talks about this indicating a bigger issue with ownership. Either way, we’re waiting for the tell-all book. Matt and Joe then talk about D.C. United beautiful new stadium and Clint Dempsey returning to training.

In the Round Table, it’s all MLS Jersey talk. We go through every jersey releases do far. We talk about the design and what we think. Spoiler: Matt’s a little underwhelmed by the LA Galaxy #OutOfTheBlue kit and Joe thinks that the Timbers new kit is SO PORTLAND TIMBERS.
