Springbok Women Rugby World Cup pool fixtures

Springbok Women Rugby World Cup

The Springbok Women Rugby World Cup pool fixtures have been revealed, with the South African ladies facing a tough challenge to progress out of their pool.

At the end of the pool stage, the bottom four teams in the three pools will head home and the top eight teams moving on to the quarterfinals.

Springbok Women rugby will be tested

The Springbok ladies are in Pool C. They are currently ranked 13th by World Rugby. In their first game, they take on France, ranked fourth. Game two sees them take on the might of the current number one team in the world, England. Their final game sees them take on Fiji, currently ranked 21st in the world.

As they are currently ranked outside of the top eight in the world, it would be a pleasant surprise for the Springbok Women rugby team to make it to the quarterfinals. Surprising England and France would be massive in terms of success in the tournament. Their reality though is that the Fiji match is a must-win game. Accumulating bonus points along the way will be crucial in their quest to move on to the playoffs.
