Initially reported by Last Word on Rugby‘s Robert Rees, Hanro Liebenberg has signed for Leicester Tigers.
Hanro Liebenberg a done deal
The Bulls number eight is a former Junior Springbok captain and has been a regular feature in the current Bulls side.
Offering a powerful carrying ability that will guarantee front foot ball, he will also provide Leicester with a much needed defensive grunt as they aim to improve on this season’s dismal performance.
Hanro Liebenberg to Leicester is a done deal then.
The 23 year old number 8 will add some helpful bulk to the Tigers pack at 6'5ft and 110kg.
He's represented South Africa at U20 and recently spent time with Stade Francais online from the Bulls.#GallagherPrem

A large player in stature should be just what the doctor ordered in helping the Tigers get back to their feet.
Liebenberg becomes the latest Bulls player to join a Gallagher Premiership side following the recent announcement of Lood De Jager going to the Sale Sharks.
He can also cover lock or blindside flanker.
