Aviva Premiership 2017/18

In the Premiership, Sarries and Quins even sent the players to sleep in a turgid affair at the Olympic Stadium. Amazingly, crowd figures topped 55,000 but, how memorable this match was might be the conversation trending – not for the entertainment factor.
Chiefs stayed top after surviving a Bath fightback and Tigers continued their resurgence, swatting aside Wasps at Welford Road.
Falcons had Flood and Shearer, (I mean Goneva) to thank for getting past Saints. They are liking the St James pitch, and flying high up in Newcastle.
Sale cut Worcester into pieces, their defence was impressive. And Gloucester had to fight hard to defeat the relegation bound Exiles.

Munster survived Mitreas’ madness to down the Scarlets. The Ospreys finally took flight, in defeating Leinster and it was ‘Cockerill’ doodle do for Edinburgh, who have won six on the spin. Cardiff made it wins on the bounce, defeating a free falling Ulster.
The Cheetahs put in a second half sprint to get past the Dragons, but the Kings fell just short against Benetton. Oh and Glasgow stuffed Zebre – the Italians coming to a halt, after recent wins.
