We’ve got a slighter shorter, almost Shane Williams in stature ‘In the Bin’ rugby pod this week. That basically means it’s still tremendous!
Return of the King (6 Nations)
We will focus on looking ahead to this weekend’s 6 Nations action with a couple of huge games.
First up in Dublin, Ireland entertain Wales. Wales welcome back some ‘Biggar’ names into the squad, while Ireland will hope to cope without the injured Robbie Henshaw and….this part is pivotal, keep their title aspirations alive.
Next up we head to over Edinburgh, where England hope not to stutter in the ‘Calcutta Cup’ fixture. Will the Scots build on last week’s win, with an surprise upset? Can Finn Russell get his act together and resemble an actual professional rugby player?
On the other side of the border, will the enormous, overwhelming tournament favourites England benefit from more dodgy TMO decisions? [ooops, we didn’t really mean that did we. ‘In the Bin’ rugby pod change our mind, it was not of benefit]. Like World Rugby, we will see…
Finally France entertain Italy with a squad stolen of several players, after that night out in Edinburgh two weeks ago. Is this the chance the Azzurri need to snatch a famous win? Andy and Paddy discuss the possibilities, and all the delicious rugby fare on offer in Round Three action.
Domestic Rugby ‘Round-up’
We also round up the domestic club action, where the discussion covers Gloucester Gloucestering, and; some will call them ‘the most in-form side in Europe…..Benneton Treviso!’
