‘In the Bin’ Rugby Pod – Season 1, Episode 15

Harlequins v Saracens - Aviva Premiership

‘In the Bin’ rugby pod hits the fullback position this week – episode number 15 is completed. With the evasive skills of a good 15 and like a good politician, we’re going to bypass any actual news this week and jump straight into the matches.

Autumn Internationals…..outside the International Window mind you

It was the international game that nobody wanted! In a match low on quality and missing so many stars you would think they had put a blanket over the Principality Stadium, South Africa lost again as they took a break to ‘Centre Parkes’.

Could this be Coetzee’s final game in charge of the Boks?

Aviva Premiership Recap

In the Premiership, there were some truly brilliant games. At The Stoop, it was a case of who ‘Cares’ wins. Quins were at it again, snatching their annual home win against Sarries. Tim Visser (see main picture) was the hero for the day.

The champions Exeter continue to delight us. They had ‘more back row action than a teenage party at the cinema’ as they drained the Bath, in an stunning opening 50 minutes.

Another entertaining clash at The Ricoh where Wasps downed the Tigers even though they decided to start with ‘Cips’.

Guinness Pro 14 Recap

In the Pro 14, Glasgow brushed off the ‘Finn Russell is leaving news’ as they made it a perfect 10 in a hammering of Cardiff Blues.

Dragons and Ulster – who some fans couldn’t decide who has had a worse start to 2017/18 – but gladly they put on a show in their drawn game. And it was V for ‘Venditti’ as Zebre shocked Connacht with a win in Italy.

There was no respite for the Southern Kings, as Edinburgh ‘did a umber’ on them. A number of tries that is.

‘In the Bin’ Rugby Pod regular features

Probably our largest shortlist ever for try of the week this time around! Some beastly candidates for hit of the week and also ref watch….I mean bin juice!

More victory for Paddy in the predictions this week. Andy is hoping the return of European games this upcoming weekend will signal a change in fortunes!

But we just hope you are enjoying this Last Word on Rugby sponsored podcast, as much as we are.
