‘In the Bin’ Rugby Pod – Autumn Internationals in Focus; Episode 13

Back on the normal schedule this week and running as smoothly as Beauden Barrett; it’s the ‘In the Bin’ rugby pod.

Autumn Internationals in Focus

Starting you off with Autumn Internationals, England defeated Australia in a tightly contested game. This one was ultimately decided by Australia’s inability to take ‘Care’ of England’s replacements.

The Aussies fumed about the grief from O’Keefe, but really they should focus on their decision making and their ‘Cheika’d’ disciplinary record.

Scotland were desperately close to a monumental upset win over NZ, but as usual, the All Blacks came up with a 24 ‘Barrett’ gold moment when they needed it most.

Wales did their best impression of a reluctant woman in labour as they refused to push against Georgia. However, they still managed to come out on top in a dull & controversial encounter.

Ireland win again, but didn’t have it easy against a feisty Fiji. And we also cover the Los Pumas victory in Italy & the underwhelming game between two great rugby nations in Paris.

Big Story Roundup

In the big news of the week, Finn Russell says Au Revoir to Glasgow in the summer and looks likely to be playing in Paris next season.

Aviva Premiership Recap

The Aviva Premiership returned with more missing internationals than a diplomatic convoy to the Bermuda triangle. It still threw up some great games: Worcester pick up their first win of the season.

Wasps hammered Newcastle, and Gloucester continued being… well, Gloucester against the once formidable Saracens.
