At NWA EmPowerrr<\/em><\/strong>, a tournament was held to decide new NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions. The women’s tag team titles in question were revived leading into the National Wrestling Alliance<\/strong>‘s first all women’s pay-per-view. The championship was rendered inactive following its sale to the World Wrestling Federation<\/strong> in 1983. In the second match of EmPowerrr<\/em>, The Hex<\/strong>, the team of Allysin Kay<\/strong> and Marti Belle<\/strong>, faced Renee Michelle<\/strong> and Sahara 7<\/strong>, also known as Hell on Heels<\/strong>. In this contest, The Hex picked up the victory. The third match on EmPowerrr<\/em> saw All Elite Wrestling<\/strong>‘s Red Velvet<\/strong> and KiLynn King<\/strong> defeat Jazzy Yang<\/strong> and Miranda Gordy<\/strong><\/a> of The Freebabes<\/strong> following King hitting Kingdom Falls on Yang. Later in the show, the finals between The Hex and Velvet and King took place. Following a second hard-fought contest of the night, The Hex won the revived NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship.<\/p>\n

On hand to present the NWA World Women’s Tag Team titles, as well as join commentary, was 3x WWF World Women’s Champion Madusa<\/strong>. The NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship tournament final match approached its conclusion when Red Velvet missed a top rope splash on Marti Belle. From there, The Hex went for their finisher, only for KiLynn King to intercept. Finally, The Hex then hit a Sick Kick AK-47 combination on Velvet for the victory. The Hex, emotional over their title victory, were crowned as the new NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champions. After being awarded the titles by Madusa, The Hex shook hands with Velvet and King in a show of respect.<\/p>\n
