Since he wasn&#8217;t signed to a performer contract, Jacobs didn&#8217;t have the same 90-day no-compete clause that most have when they depart &#8211; his first appearance was in the crowd at <strong>Ring of Honor<\/strong>&#8216;s <em><strong>Global Wars: Chicago<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0when he came out of the crowd at the end of the night to take another selfie with the group.<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/twitter.com\/JimmyJacobsX\/status\/919789238694096896?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cagesideseats.com%2F2017%2F10%2F16%2F16481752%2Fjimmy-jacobs-roh-global-wars-selfie-bullet-club-gif-cody-rhodes-roman-reigns-promo-wwe-war<\/p>\n<p>He made his full return to the ring\u00a0two weeks back with <strong>CZW<\/strong>, when he defeated<strong> Sami Callihan<\/strong> at <em><strong>CZW Night of Infamy<\/strong><\/em> on November 11, before teaming up with Callihan, <strong>AR Fox<\/strong> and <strong>Michael Elgin<\/strong> the following night for <strong>Beyond Wrestling<\/strong> in defeat to <strong>Team Pazuzu<\/strong> (<strong>Angel Ortiz, Chris Dickinson, Jaka<\/strong> and <strong>Mike Draztik<\/strong>). Last week he returned to <strong>IWA Mid South<\/strong>, one of the promotions that gave Jacobs his big break in the early 2000s, losing by DQ to <strong>Dale Patricks<\/strong> at <em><strong>IWA Mid South Harvest The Violence<\/strong><\/em>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9927\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9927\" style=\"width: 463px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9927\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/11\/DPH2kosW0AAcCNL-e1511535517400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"463\" height=\"600\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9927\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: IWA Mid South<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Last night, at <em><strong>IWA Mid South BloodFeast<\/strong><\/em>, Jimmy Jacobs won his first title since holding the <strong>Canadian Wrestling Elite (CWE)<\/strong> Championship back in 2015, defeating IWA Mid South World Champion <strong>Aaron Williams<\/strong> to become the new World Champion for IWA Mid South. He became a 3x IWA Mid South Light Heavyweight Champion, amidst feuds with the likes of <strong>Chris Sabin<\/strong>, <strong>CM Punk<\/strong>, <strong>Alex Shelley<\/strong> and <strong>Colt Cabana<\/strong>. Featuring his frequent tag partner <strong>Tyler Black<\/strong> (now <strong>Seth Rollins<\/strong> in the WWE) and hardcore icon <strong>Necro Butcher<\/strong>, the trio debuted by viciously assaulting the<strong> Briscoe Brothers<\/strong> following the brother&#8217;s intense ladder match against <strong>Kevin Steen<\/strong> (aka <strong>Kevin Owens<\/strong>) and <strong>El Generico<\/strong> (<strong>Sami Zayn<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p>https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tvXotHRiFxo<\/p>\n<p>The Age of the Fall duo of Jacobs and Black would become 2x ROH World Tag Team Champions, as well as collect tag team gold in both <strong>PWG<\/strong> and <strong>AAW<\/strong>. Through the next few years, Age of the Fall would acquire many other members, including <strong>Joey Mercury<\/strong>, <strong>Brodie Lee<\/strong> (aka <strong>Luke Harper<\/strong>), <strong>Delirious<\/strong>, <strong>Lacey<\/strong>, and <strong>MsChief<\/strong>. He&#8217;s also become a new regular with <strong>Impact Wrestling<\/strong>, debuting a few weeks back on commentary, where he&#8217;s seemingly taken over as the new handler for <strong>Kongo Kong<\/strong>. He was also just announced as appearing on <strong>Border City Wrestling<\/strong>&#8216;s<a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2017\/11\/09\/impact-tapings-matches-detroit-december\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> upcoming Detroit show, which will include some taping for Impact Wrestling<\/a> (the main event is for the Impact Global Championship between <strong>Eli Drake, John Morrison<\/strong> and <strong>Alberto El Patron<\/strong>), where Jacobs is being advertised as competing in an X-Division match. He&#8217;s also competing tonight (November 24) at <strong>AIW<\/strong> against long time foe Colt Cabana, and then challenges AAW Champion <strong>Rey Fenix<\/strong> this Saturday in Chicago. He&#8217;s also booked in the UK early next year, in a dream match versus <strong>Jimmy Havoc<\/strong> in <strong>IPW:UK<\/strong> in March.
