{"id":9887,"date":"2017-11-23T15:41:48","date_gmt":"2017-11-23T20:41:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/?p=9887"},"modified":"2017-11-23T16:18:39","modified_gmt":"2017-11-23T21:18:39","slug":"preview-ott-contenders-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2017\/11\/23\/preview-ott-contenders-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Preview: OTT Contenders 4 (11\/26\/2017)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Its that time again as some of the best talent in Ireland descend upon the Ringside Club and <strong>Over The Top\u00a0(OTT) Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>to take on Ireland&#8217;s best and some names from the UK indie scene that has fans salivating over the potential for great matches.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s our preview of the weekend&#8217;s action and some insight into who these young wrestlers are and why its so exciting to see them step up to the plate here at <em><strong>OTT Contenders 4<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 There is an added bonus for our contenders as the best three take on\u00a0<strong>British Strong Style\u00a0<\/strong>at the National Stadium next month.<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Match 1:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>LJ Cleary vs Fabulous Nicky<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9905\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9905\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-9905\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/11\/DOCkq78XUAAwE5i-1024x541.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9905\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: OTT<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Cleary made his debut at OTT: Vendetta against\u00a0<strong>El Ligero\u00a0<\/strong>and Nicky where he was eliminated in mere seconds.\u00a0 He is out for revenge here against Nicky.\u00a0 Nicky is a veteran and will look to use that to his advantage against the cocky youth.\u00a0 I expect Nicky to have enough to beat Cleary but I wont be surprised if the young man pulls off the upset<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:\u00a0<\/strong>Nicky to win<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Match 2:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Curtis Murray vs Kenny Williams vs Nathan Martin<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9906\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9906\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-9906\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/11\/DOHgKYyWsAAU6a3-1024x541.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9906\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: OTT<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As can be seen in my Vendetta preview I am very high on Murray.\u00a0 He goes against tag partner Martin and rising indie star Williams here.\u00a0 This will be a great match between three fliers.\u00a0 Martin always shows great fire and he will try his best to come out of this match with some respect.\u00a0 Williams should pick up the win here against his younger opponents but in a multi man environment you can never be sure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:\u00a0<\/strong>Kenny Williams to win<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Match 3:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Raven Creed vs Debbie Keitel<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9908\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9908\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-9908\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/11\/DPJurMKXUAE3pjk-1024x541.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9908\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: OTT<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Two of the best up and coming womens wrestlers in Ireland clash here.\u00a0 Creed has been killing it in\u00a0<strong>Celtic Championship Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>as part of the terrifying\u00a0<strong>Therapy\u00a0<\/strong>group.\u00a0 These two fought for the CCW Womens title recently and this match will prove to be another chapter in their burgeoning rivalry.\u00a0 Keitel has a few wins on these contenders shows and has proved to be a good wrestler but Creed is on another level. I expect her to win here and make a strong case to appear on one of the main OTT shows next year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction: <\/strong>Raven Creed to win<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Match 4: <\/strong><\/em><strong>Kings Of The North (Bonesaw &amp; Damian Corvin) vs Club Tropicana (Captain Sexsea &amp; Aiden Epix)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9907\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9907\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-9907\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/11\/DPJurMcX4AA1sZy-1024x541.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9907\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: OTT<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>KOTN make their first appearance since their face turn at Vendetta.\u00a0 The crowd will be eager to see Irelands premier tag team and show their appreciation to them for standing up to Gibson &amp; Co.\u00a0 Tropicana are one of the most entertaining duos in Ireland right now and in a promo video released on Twitter showed they understood what they were getting into when they requested the KOTN not kill them.\u00a0 I fully expect the KOTN to try and kill the youngsters as they are still OTT tag champions and need to continue winning ahead of their title match at Being The Elite in December.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:\u00a0<\/strong>Kings Of The North to win<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Match 5:\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Joe Coffey vs Michael May<\/strong><\/h3>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9902\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9902\" style=\"width: 640px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-9902\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/11\/DNYYXohWsAAbV2H-1024x541.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"338\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9902\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: OTT<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2017\/11\/22\/joe-coffey-finishes-icw\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">With the apparent departure\u00a0of Joe Coffey from ICW<\/a>, we\u00a0have to wonder if we will see more of him in OTT as this is his first Dublin show since May of last year at Even Better Than Our Best.\u00a0 He takes Michael May someone who can match him in almost every department. He has shown his technical and physical capabilities on previous Contenders shows.\u00a0 This will be a great battle between two big lads that may just steal the show.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Prediction:\u00a0<\/strong>Joe Coffey to win<\/p>\n<h3><em><strong>Main Event: <\/strong><\/em><strong>Aussie Open (&#8220;DunkZILLA&#8221;
