The legendary Chris Jericho was a guest on John “Poz” Pozarowski’s Two Man Power Trip podcast to discuss his newest book, The Complete List Of Jericho, which tracks all of the Demo God’s matches since day one until his 30th year in the business. Jericho talks about match 1001 in the interview after asking John Poz to pick a match. Jericho also goes into why the book itself is basically being handled by himself and not a publishing company. “1001<\/span> you<\/span> look<\/span> it<\/span> up<\/span> here<\/span> it’s<\/span> all<\/span> in<\/span> order<\/span> because<\/span> like<\/span> you<\/span> said,<\/span> I’ve<\/span> kept<\/span> a<\/span> log<\/span> of<\/span> every<\/span> match<\/span> that<\/span> I’ve<\/span> ever<\/span> had.<\/span> Since<\/span> the<\/span> first<\/span> day<\/span> of<\/span> October<\/span> 2 1990<\/span> So<\/span> 1001.<\/span> Wow!<\/span>\u00a0It was\u00a0my<\/span> second<\/span> match<\/span> ever<\/span>\u00a0in\u00a0WWE,<\/span>\u00a0August<\/span> 24, 1999.<\/span> That<\/span> was<\/span> versus<\/span> the<\/span> Road<\/span> Dogg<\/span> in<\/span> Kansas<\/span> City,<\/span> Missouri.<\/span> I<\/span> lost<\/span> by<\/span> DQ,<\/span> and<\/span> I<\/span> gave<\/span> that<\/span> one<\/span> three<\/span> stars.”<\/span><\/p>\n “I can go through and<\/span>\u00a0find<\/span> out<\/span> every<\/span> match<\/span> I’ve<\/span> ever<\/span> had,<\/span> where<\/span> it<\/span> was, <\/span>when<\/span> it<\/span> was,<\/span> I<\/span> gave<\/span> it<\/span> a<\/span> star<\/span> rating<\/span> every<\/span> night<\/span> and<\/span> I<\/span> kept<\/span> track<\/span> of<\/span> the<\/span> money<\/span> for<\/span> the<\/span> first<\/span> probably<\/span> 600<\/span> of<\/span> them<\/span> or<\/span> so<\/span> or<\/span> 800<\/span> of<\/span> them<\/span> until<\/span> I<\/span> started<\/span> making<\/span> guaranteed<\/span> money<\/span> to<\/span> where<\/span> it’s<\/span> the<\/span> same<\/span> every<\/span> week. And it’s just, I don’t think there’s ever been anybody that’s done that before, especially with the career that I had of going 30 years around the world so it really is a journal, a handwritten journal that basically- I mean if you haven’t seen the book you can see right here (shows the book to the camera so viewers can see). At the very front cover that’s the actual page right there, that I wrote all- that’s my actual writing that’s the first page ever, and that we kind of trend, you know, made that part of the book as well in my actual handwriting, etc.”<\/span><\/p>\n “The\u00a0publishers<\/span> that<\/span> I’ve<\/span> been<\/span> working<\/span> with<\/span> were<\/span> like<\/span> that’s<\/span> too<\/span> specific,<\/span> and<\/span> it’s<\/span> too<\/span> soon,<\/span> you<\/span> know<\/span> you’re<\/span> whittling<\/span> I<\/span> came<\/span> in<\/span> with<\/span> this<\/span> too<\/span> direct<\/span> of<\/span> a- <\/span>of<\/span> a<\/span> book<\/span> or<\/span> whatever<\/span> maybe<\/span> as<\/span> like<\/span> you<\/span> guys<\/span> don’t<\/span> know<\/span> my<\/span> fan<\/span> base<\/span> and<\/span> don’t<\/span> know<\/span> wrestling<\/span> fans<\/span> and<\/span> you<\/span> should<\/span> know<\/span> this<\/span> after<\/span> four<\/span> New<\/span> York<\/span> Times<\/span> bestsellers. <\/span>I<\/span> mean,<\/span> all<\/span> of<\/span> my<\/span> instinct<\/span> here,<\/span> and<\/span> they<\/span> weren’t<\/span> into<\/span> it,<\/span> and<\/span> I<\/span> thought<\/span> okay<\/span> great,<\/span> I’ll<\/span> do<\/span> it<\/span> myself<\/span> and<\/span> here<\/span> I<\/span> am<\/span> in<\/span> just<\/span> two<\/span> weeks<\/span> today<\/span> I<\/span> think<\/span> it<\/span> is,<\/span> we’ve<\/span> already<\/span> sold<\/span> out<\/span> half<\/span> the<\/span> first<\/span> printing,<\/span> you<\/span> know<\/span> thousands and<\/span> thousands and<\/span> thousands of<\/span> books<\/span> and<\/span> it’s<\/span> like<\/span> they’re<\/span> already<\/span> talking<\/span> about<\/span> a<\/span> second<\/span> printing<\/span> and<\/span> once<\/span> again<\/span> it’s<\/span> like<\/span> I<\/span> know<\/span> what<\/span> I’m<\/span> right<\/span> and<\/span> I<\/span> knew<\/span> this<\/span> will<\/span> work<\/span> Jericho talks about the book being more of a handwritten journal<\/h3>\n
