In the most important match of her career, the blonde brickhouse, Kamille, defeated wrestling veteran Serena Deeb for the NWA World Women’s Championship. This marked Kamille’s first-ever championship victory in the National Wrestling Alliance; a major accomplishment, to be certain. However, it also indicated that Strictly Business was that much more draped in championship gold. Many NWA fans would argue that this wasn’t without its controversy.

In the main event of the aforementioned pay-per-view, Nick Aldis retained the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship against Trevor Murdoch under dubious circumstances. With the help of Thom Latimer, as well as a steel chair, Aldis was able to get Murdoch disqualified, which left fans and NWA personnel alike beside themselves. On this edition of NWA Powerrr, Strictly Business will celebrate their new titleholder in Kamille. What will the festivities entail? Is there a possibility that another women’s wrestler steps up to the plate to challenge Kamille? Tune in later tonight to find out.

NWA World Television Championship: Pope (c) vs. Luke Hawx

Another man that had his hands full this past Sunday was Pope. On the show, the NWA World Television Champion battled Tyrus in a non-title grudge match. For the past several weeks, animosity had built between the two, the fire being fanned by none other than Tyrus’ own representative, Austin Idol. Though Pope put forth a valiant effort at When Our Shadows Fall, it was Tyrus that emerged victorious. Keep in mind that this was a non-title encounter, meaning that Pope’s standing as NWA World Television Champion remains intact.

Tonight, on NWA Powerrr, Pope defends said standing against Luke Hawx. NWA fans may be familiar with this individual due to his sporadic appearances on the promotion’s programming. During the When Our Shadows Fall pre-show, Hawx bested Jeremiah Plunkett to be crowned the new number one contender for the NWA World Television Championship. Hawx has more than two decades of wrestling experience under his belt. Furthermore, in addition to wrestling, he is a stuntman, actor, as well as the Founder and CEO of the professional wrestling school known as Wildkat Sports.
