The scene has now been set with these rankings following a week where they were not released heading into the major show. With a new champion crowned in the women&#8217;s division, that looks the most different but there&#8217;s a lot of implications from that show. Following his win in the <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2021\/05\/30\/jungle-boy-wins-casino-battle-royale\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">Casino Battle Royale<\/a>, he has taken claim of the top spot in the men&#8217;s rankings. He will get his AEW World Championship match next Wednesday night. <strong>Hangman Page<\/strong> rises up after defeating <strong>Brian Cage<\/strong> at <em>Double or Nothing<\/em> and could get back to number one following the world title match &#8212; whichever way it may go.<strong> Orange Cassidy<\/strong> could be the biggest surprise of all, as he was pinned by <strong>Kenny Omega<\/strong> while <strong>PAC<\/strong> was not, but remains in the top five in all of AEW for the men.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Women&#8217;s AEW Rankings<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/Zd9TxlQ.jpg?1\" alt=\"Women's AEW Rankings\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Number one no more. A new champion was crowned at <em>Double or Nothing<\/em> as<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2021\/05\/30\/britt-baker-wins-aew-womens-championship\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><strong> Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.<\/strong> defeated<\/a> <strong>Hikaru Shida<\/strong> to become AEW Women&#8217;s World Champion. That has led to Shida being in the rankings for the first time in a long time, coming in at No. 4. <strong>Thunder Rosa<\/strong> is now the top contender for Baker and considering that she has an unofficial win over the new champion, this could be the direction they go. <strong>Nyla Rose<\/strong>\u00a0notably has a win over Baker as well this year. &#8220;Legit&#8221; <strong>Leyla Hirsch<\/strong> makes her way into the rankings as well.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Tag Team AEW Rankings<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/1yMJHCh.jpg?1\" alt=\"Tag Team AEW Rankings\" width=\"700\" height=\"394\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Following the loss of<strong> Jon Moxley<\/strong> and <strong>Eddie Kingston<\/strong> at <em>Double or Nothing<\/em>, they now fall to fifth place. <strong>Ethan Page<\/strong> and <strong>Scorpio Sky<\/strong>, who were in second place last time rankings were released, fall completely out as a loss to <strong>Sting<\/strong> and <strong>Darby Allin<\/strong> cost them their spot. <strong>Private Party<\/strong> also makes their first appearance in some time.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>More from LWOS Pro Wrestling<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>Stay tuned to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/\" target=\"_self\">Last Word on Pro Wrestling<\/a>\u00a0for more on this and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
