It was announced on Wednesday that beginning in 2022, AEW Dynamite<\/strong> will be moving from TNT to TBS as announced in the official press release. There will also be a new show debuting for AEW, titled AEW: Rampage<\/strong>, which will air on TNT and debuts Friday, Aug. 13 at 10 p.m. EST following WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown<\/strong> on FOX. It was also revealed that there will be four new pro wrestling “supercards” aired annually as part of the new deal between AEW and Turner, adding to their four pay-per-views that they hold every year. Those will air on TNT.<\/p>\n

LOS ANGELES (May 19, 2021) \u2013 The All Elite Wrestling (AEW) franchise will grow its footprint with a move of \u201cAEW: Dynamite\u201d to TBS in January 2022.<\/em><\/p>\n

Until then, presence on TNT remains robust in 2021 with the addition of the new hour-long series \u201cAEW: Rampage.\u201d Debuting on August 13 at 10 p.m. ET, \u201cAEW: Rampage\u201d is a third hour of high-octane wrestling featuring the world renowned stars of AEW.\u00a0In addition, TNT will debut four new professional wrestling specials annually, continuing to garner and grow AEW\u2019s audience until the move to TBS in 2022.\u00a0<\/em>

It was revealed back in January 2020 that AEW had a second straight-to-series show being planned<\/a>, so the news of Rampage was expected for a long time. This is huge news for AEW as their relationship continues to grow with WarnerMedia.<\/p>\n
