The May 18 edition of AEW Dark will be home to a number of debuts as independent wrestling stars and hidden gems alike look to make their mark on the biggest stage of their career.\u00a0 Create A Pro trainee Aaron Rourke is the standout name of this crop of debuts but let’s take a look at all of the debuting talents on the show.\u00a0Note: While there is a graphic making the rounds for Ren Narita debuting on Dark this has not been posted by AEW<\/a> to their social media alongside all other match graphics<\/strong><\/p>\n

Aaron Rourke<\/h2>\n

A trainee from Create A Pro Aaron Rourke looks to become the latest student from the CAP school to make the jump to the big time.\u00a0 Other notable Create A Pro graduates in AEW include\u00a0Max Caster<\/strong>,\u00a0MJF<\/strong>, and\u00a0Kris Statlander<\/strong>.\u00a0 Rourke’s most notable run on the independent scene came in\u00a0Beyond Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>where he had a run with the Discovery Gauntlet during season 2 of Uncharted Territories.<\/p>\n

Tamilian Vineesh<\/h2>\n

Tamilian Vineesh claims to be the first Tamilian pro wrestler in the world.\u00a0 The “Indian Nightmare” has had runs as XVW Internet Champion has held tag team gold in the past.<\/p>\n

Duncan Mitchell<\/h2>\n

Mithcell will team with Vineesh as he too makes his AEW debut.\u00a0 Duncan has wrestled for\u00a0New South Pro Wrestling<\/strong>,\u00a0Wrestling United, <\/strong>and Platinum Championship Wrestling.\u00a0<\/strong>Mitchell is yet another\u00a0QT Marshall\u00a0<\/strong>student making the jump to AEW.<\/p>\n

Kal Jak<\/h2>\n

Former WWE Developmental star Kal Jak makes his AEW debut on AEW Dark this week.\u00a0 Jak went by\u00a0Cal Bishop\u00a0<\/strong>during his stint in NXT which ran from 2012 to 2013.\u00a0 After some time working indies like\u00a0HOODSLAM\u00a0<\/strong>he came back to prominence in 2020 when he wrestled on\u00a0Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)\u00a0<\/strong>Bloodsport, he has returned to GCW twice since in winning efforts at Bloodsport 4 and 5.<\/p>\n

Deonn Rusman<\/h2>\n

The Iceberg Deonn Rusman is from Alaska but is actually trained by\u00a0Seth Rollins\u00a0<\/strong>at the Black and Brave academy.\u00a0 Rusman has been featured in prominent indie AAWPro as part of a tag team known as inFAMy alongside\u00a0Joeasa<\/strong>.\u00a0 He has also wrestled for\u00a0WrestlePro\u00a0<\/strong>and appeared on Monday Night Raw in 2019 getting beaten by\u00a0Aleister Black<\/strong><\/p>\n
