Mendoza &amp; Fashion will team with 2-times WWC Universal Champion and The Crash regular <strong>Mecha Wolf 450 <\/strong>against <strong>Jack Evans<\/strong>, <strong>Willie Mack <\/strong>and <strong>Mascarita Dorada<\/strong>. After the <strong>WWE<\/strong> tryout, almost everybody thought\u00a0that for the rest of 2017 that was going to be his best achievement, but with The Crash announcement, it seems that his journey keeps getting bigger. As for Fashion, this is the biggest test \u2013 for now \u2013 of his wrestling career. The man that started as a referee and rose to be a stable in <strong>World Wrestling Council<\/strong>\u2019s mid-card, seems to be expanding more with the passing of months since Hurricane Maria. She already performed in Arena Mexico and wrestle in several Indies in the United States. The hashtag #wrestlingforPuertoRico was an auction that was able to raise $21,000\u00a0 for those damaged by Hurricane Maria in the island. In the auction, WWE talents and legends donated articles \u2013 usually signed by them. <strong>The Rock<\/strong>, <strong>Kevin Owens<\/strong>, <strong>Samoa Joe<\/strong>, <strong>Seth Rollins<\/strong>, <strong>Charlotte Flair<\/strong>, <strong>Becky Lynch<\/strong>, Puerto Rican born <strong>Lince Dorado<\/strong> and many others helped the WWE Hall of Famer to raise the $21,000 in this disastrous times.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-9168\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/11\/Rocky-Romero-640x370.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"370\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/11\/Rocky-Romero-640x370.png 640w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/11\/Rocky-Romero-640x370-300x173.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another wrestler that helped the island in this tough times was former <strong>IWGP Jr. Heavyweight<\/strong> and <strong>Jr. Tag Team Champion<\/strong> <strong>Rocky Romero<\/strong>. Romero is part Cuban, but has family in Puerto Rico, specifically in Bayamon \u2013 an urban area, just 20 minutes from San Juan. He did an auction of his complete ring attire from <strong>New Japan Pro Wrestling<\/strong>\u2019s G1 Special in Long Beach. That\u2019s the same attire that Romero had when he and Trent Berretta challenged for the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team titles for one last time against <strong>The Young Bucks<\/strong> in California.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Puerto Rico represents in CKCW\u2019s One Year Anniversary <\/strong><\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9169\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9169\" style=\"width: 428px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-9169 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/11\/22549554_1919084434983013_623721479354961895_n-e1509722627205.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"428\" height=\"600\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9169\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: CKCW<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>Cleveland Knights Championship Wrestling<\/strong> is a wrestling promotion that prides itself on booking a lot of Puerto Rican talents. The company is having their <a href=\"https:\/\/ckcw.yapsody.com\/event\/index\/156241\/live-pro-wrestling\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">One Year Anniversary in Cleveland<\/a>, Ohio and they\u2019re going all in on their mix of Puerto Rican talents and Indy wrestlers.<\/p>\n<p>The big match that has everyone\u2019s attention, is a fatal 4-way for the <strong>Championship Wrestling Association\u2019s Heavyweight title<\/strong>. <strong>Starr Roger<\/strong> \u2013 probably Puerto Rico\u2019s wrestler of the year \u2013 will have to defend his title against former <strong>X-Division Champion<\/strong> <strong>DJZ<\/strong>, former <strong>TNA World Tag Team Champion Robbie E<\/strong> and former Puerto Rican Champion \u2013 who is sign with CWA\u2019s rival promotion <strong>World Wrestling League<\/strong> \u2013 Mike Mendoza. Roger\u2019s 300 plus-days as <strong>CWA Champion<\/strong> will be put to the test against this top 3 indy names.<\/p>\n<p>Other big matches are: Vanilla Vargas \u00a9 vs. <strong>Sweet Nancy<\/strong> for <strong>CKCW Women Championship<\/strong>, <strong>State Line<\/strong> \u00a9 vs. against Puerto Rican legendary tag team <strong>Thunder &amp; Lightning<\/strong>, WWE Hall of Fame tag team <strong>The Rock n\u2019 Roll Express<\/strong> vs. <strong>BJ &amp; Hiram Tua<\/strong> vs. <strong>Team Storm<\/strong> and former <strong>WWE Intercontinental Champion Billy Gun<\/strong> vs. <strong>Joey Ryan<\/strong>. Regarding the <strong>CKCW Heavyweight Championship<\/strong>, <strong>Ring of Honor<\/strong> talent <strong>Shante Taylor<\/strong> was supposed to defend it against Angel Fashion and <strong>J-Rocc<\/strong>, but he had to forfeit his title because of conflicting schedules with ROH and CKCW. The Cleveland promotion decided to strip Shane Taylor of its CKCW title and later in 2018 ask for a rematch for it.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Florida Wrestling Revolution turns up the heat <\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>As we reported in the latest edition of the Caribbean Report, a new wrestling promotion mainly run by talents from the Caribbean was going to start operating in Kissimmee, Florida. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fwrevolution.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The <strong>FWR <\/strong>promotion owned by Ernesto Cruz<\/a> \u2013 a new promoter from Florida \u2013 has announced some matches for their February show.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9170\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9170\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-9170\" src=\"https:\/\/lwosonprowrestling.ms.lastwordonsports.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2017\/11\/22814002_343181032775788_4207289022907851180_n-e1509723183411.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"388\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9170\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo: FWR<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The main event will be headline by former WWE\/F talents <strong>Savio Vega <\/strong>and <strong>Miguel Perez Jr.<\/strong> \u2013 The Boricuas in the old <strong>World Wrestling Federation <\/strong>\u2013 against <strong>AAA <\/strong>talents <strong>Pagano <\/strong>and <strong>Psycho Clown<\/strong>. Also in action: <strong>Mike Mendoza <\/strong>vs. former <strong>AAA Mega Champion Texano Jr.<\/strong>, <strong>Angel Fashion<\/strong> vs. <strong>Hijo del Fantasma <\/strong>(King Cuernos in Lucha Underground), Dominican and WWC wrestling legend <strong>Bronco #1 <\/strong>vs. <strong>Fidel Sierra<\/strong> \u2013 also a WWC legend \u2013, <strong>Starr<\/strong> <strong>Roger<\/strong> vs. The Crash talent and <strong>Pro Wrestling Guerrilla<\/strong> regular <strong>Rey Horus <\/strong>(Dragon Azteca Jr. in LU) and <strong>Thunder &amp; Lightning <\/strong>vs. <strong>Dennis River <\/strong>(Savio Vega\u2019s brother) and <strong>Noel Rodriguez<\/strong>, <strong>Cuervo<\/strong> vs. LU star <strong>Drago<\/strong>, among other matches. \u00a0Also, <strong>Dutch Mantell<\/strong> \u2013 previously known in WWE as <strong>Zeb Colter<\/strong> \u2013 will be honored in that show.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Other news from the Caribbean<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&#8211; Mick Foley and Rocky Romero weren\u2019t the only ones having special events to help Puerto Rico. The youngest <strong>WWC Universal Champion<\/strong> ever <strong>BJ<\/strong> did a recollection of goods for those devastated by Hurricane Maria in Humacao \u2013 in the east side of Puerto Rico.
