Wonderland 2021 (5\/4\/21)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling<\/strong> will return to Korakuen Hall on March 4th for their <strong><em>Yes! Wonderland 2021<\/em><\/strong> show. The card features all of the titles on the line and includes English commentary available on WRESTLE UNIVERSE. Due to the state of emergency in Tokyo, the show will not include an audience.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Pom Harujuku and Haruna Neko vs. Mahiro Kiryu and Moka Miyamoto<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>Yes! Wonderland 2021<\/em> kicks off with a tag match between some of the rookie talent in TJPW. <strong>Pom Harujuku<\/strong> and <strong>Haruna Neko<\/strong> have made themselves into quite the tag team as they have started to appear together on a consistent basis. On the opposing side of the ring, they are met with the team of <strong>Mahiro Kiryu<\/strong> and <strong>Moka Miyamoto<\/strong>. This is the first time Kiryu and Miyamoto have teamed up so it will be interesting to see how they work against a team that is more established. This match should be a nice easy opener for a big show ahead.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Hyper Misao, Nodoka Tenma and Yuki Aino vs. Nao Kakuta, Marika Kobashi and Raku<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Former Princess Tag Team Champions <strong>Nodoka Tenma<\/strong> and <strong>Yuki Aino<\/strong> will be teaming with <strong>Hyper Misao<\/strong>, which makes quite a strong unit to go against. During TJPW\u2019s English-only show, <strong>That\u2019s J-PW<\/strong>, Aino and Tenma beat <strong>Nao Kakuta<\/strong> and <strong>Marika Kobashi<\/strong>, which works in their favor. Even though Kakuta recently had an International Princess Championship match against <strong>Yuki Kamifuku<\/strong>, her multi-woman tag team matches have been really fun to watch and she has gelled well with the other roster members. <strong>Raku<\/strong> has also been receiving time to showcase herself during all of TJPW\u2019s new shows and has been slowly getting more impressive. It may be an obvious choice that the <strong>BAKURETSU Sisters<\/strong> and Misao will get the victory at <em>Yes! Wonderland 2021<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/ihe6N44.jpg\" alt=\"Maki Itoh and Arisu Endo vs. Miu Watanabe and Yuki Arai\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Maki Itoh and Arisu Endo vs. Miu Watanabe and Yuki Arai\u00a0<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Yuki Arai<\/strong> from the idol group SKE48 will make her official debut at <em>Yes! Wonderland 2021<\/em>\u00a0by teaming up with fellow idol <strong>Miu Watanabe<\/strong>. The news of Arai joining TJPW on a part-time basis has given the company a lot of mainstream attention in Japan due to how popular SKE48 is, so there will be a lot of eyes on this match. Arai and <strong>Maki Itoh<\/strong> already have history against each other due to <strong>DDT<\/strong>\u2019s Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship. While Itoh and Watanabe will more than likely carry the majority of the match, Arai and Endo will be ones to watch.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/YtaSmf6.jpg\" alt=\"TJPW Yes Wonderland 2021\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Yuka Sakazaki vs. Mizuki vs. <\/strong><strong>Shoko Nakajima<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Three of the best wrestlers on the roster will meet in a three-way match at <em>Yes! Wonderland 2021<\/em>; the winner will earn a chance at the Princess of Princess Champion at the huge <strong><em>CyberFight Festival<\/em><\/strong> on June 6th, a show that includes <strong>Pro Wrestling NOAH<\/strong>, DDT and TJPW. All three of these women have been putting on consistently great matches, so whoever wins in this certainly deserves to have a chance at whoever walks out of this show as the champion. There\u2019s no doubt, with all this talent, that this could easily overshadow all of the title matches that are to follow later on in the show. It may be close, but as the other <em>CyberFight<\/em> title matches seem to feature the stars with the biggest home and international appeal, Sakazaki looks to be the one to face the champion.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/vU07J6J.jpg\" alt=\"Yuki Kamifuku Hikari Noa\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>International Princess Championship: Yuki Kamifuku (c) vs. Hikari Noa<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The challenger <strong>Hikari Noa<\/strong> has recently vowed to get into doing more singles work after her tag partner, <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2021\/04\/19\/sena-shiori-graduates-retires-from-tjpw\/\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Sena Shiori<\/strong><\/a>, graduated from TJPW. What a way to start, too, by going after Yuki Kamifuku and her International Princess Championship. This is somewhat of a rematch as these two were in the finals last year to crown an International Princess Champion after the title was vacated due to COVID-19; ultimately, Kamifuku got the win. However, with &#8220;Kamiyu\u2019s&#8221; plan to hold the championship until foreign talent can come to Japan again motivating her, it may be a lot harder for Noa to get the win. Fans can expect a fun match between two wrestlers who have been doing some amazing work recently.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/i.imgur.com\/c2wA7TM.jpg\" alt=\"TJPW Yes Wonderland 2021\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Princess Tag Team Championship: NEO Biishiki-gun (Sakisama and Mei Saint-Michel) (c) vs. BeeStar (Mirai Maiumi and Suzume)<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>NEO Biishiki-gun<\/strong> have their first defense as Princess Tag Team Champions after defeating the BAKURETSU Sisters at <strong><em>Still Incomplete<\/em><\/strong> in April. <strong>Sakisama<\/strong> and <strong>Mei Saint-Michel<\/strong> have been showing some amazing chemistry despite only becoming a team in the last few months. Additionally, their style of tag work has given more heelish character depth to TJPW. <strong>Mirai Maiumi<\/strong> and <strong>Suzume<\/strong> have been working together as <strong>BeeStar<\/strong>. After getting a shocking win during <em>Still Incomplete<\/em> against <strong>Magical Sugar Rabbits<\/strong> and Shoko\/Misao, BeeStar immediately challenged Sakisama and Saint-Michel. Although BeeStar only has a combined three years experience as wrestlers, they will certainly put on a good show against the champions. With the way things have been going, NEO Biishiki-gun will more than likely get the win.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"338\" class=\"size-full wp-image-90754 alignnone\" src=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/05\/tjpw-yes-wonderland-2021.jpg\" alt=\"TJPW Yes Wonderland 2021\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/05\/tjpw-yes-wonderland-2021.jpg 600w, https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/15\/2021\/05\/tjpw-yes-wonderland-2021-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Princess of Princess Championship: Rika Tatsumi (c) vs. Miyu Yamashita<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Rika Tatsumi<\/strong> has a tough third Princess of Princess Championship defense against the &#8220;Ace,&#8221; <strong>Miyu Yamashita<\/strong>. Recently, Yamashita challenged Tatsumi for her title after she defended against Yamashita\u2019s tag partner, Maki Itoh, at <em>Still Incomplete<\/em>. Tatsumi was not too happy about the challenge as she slapped Yamashita across the face; this amount of hostility might not bode well in the long run. Yamashita has somehow been getting more deadly with her striking ability, completely taking out her opponents with her skull kick.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Given the way that the challenger has been dominating in every aspect of the company this year, there is a high chance that she will be the one to take down the titleholder. Although Tatsumi has had great defenses against Watanabe and Itoh, Yamashita is definitely the strongest person on the roster right now.
