Fresh off of the history-making Rebellion<\/em> <\/a>pay-per-view, IMPACT! Wrestling returns to AXS TV this Thursday, April 29. You can catch all of the action on AXS TV at 8 pm EST. The preshow Before the Impact<\/em> will begin at 7 pm EST and will feature Deaner<\/strong> vs James<\/strong> Storm<\/strong>. Let\u2019s see what IMPACT! on April 29 has in store for us.<\/p>\n

IMPACT X-Divison Championship: Josh Alexander (c) vs. Ace Austin<\/h2>\n

Josh Alexander<\/strong><\/a> shocked Ace<\/strong> Austin<\/strong> at Rebellion<\/em>, by winning the X-Division Championship. Despite interference from Madman<\/strong> Fulton<\/strong>, Josh Alexander was able to overcome Ace Austin, and TJP<\/strong> to take the title in the first match of the pay-per-view. This is Alexander’s first X-Divison Championship and he isn’t planning on losing it anytime soon. Ace Austin wasted little time demanding his rematch for the title, and the two will now square off in a re-match for the X-Divison Championship.<\/p>\n

Taylor Wilde vs. Kimber Lee<\/h2>\n

After weeks of vignettes teasing her return, Taylor Wilde<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>made her return to IMPACT at Rebellion<\/em>. She made her presence felt after the IMPACT Knockout’s Championship match. Knockout’s Champion Deonna<\/strong> Purrazzo<\/strong> defeated Tenille<\/strong> Dashwood\u00a0<\/strong>to retain her title with Kimber<\/strong> Lee<\/strong> and Susan<\/strong> in her corner. After the match, Purrazzo and company continued to beatdown Dashwood. When things were looking bleak for Dashwood, Wilde’s music hit and Purrazzo and company headed for higher ground. Wilde will make her return to IMPACT! television this Thursday to face Kimber Lee in the ring.<\/p>\n

W.Morrissey Makes His IMPACT! Debut<\/h2>\n

Kenny Omega In-Ring Celebration<\/h2>\n

Kenny<\/strong> Omega<\/strong><\/a> defeated Rich<\/strong> Swann<\/strong> at Rebellion<\/em> to become the new IMPACT World Champion. He captured the title in a title vs. title match and now holds the IMPACT and AEW World Championship, as well as the AAA Mega Championship. Omega will be celebrating his victory in the ring on IMPACT!. It is safe to assume he will be accompanied by “The Invisible Hand” Don Callis<\/strong> and The Good<\/strong> Brothers<\/strong>. Who else will attend the ceremony? Will Rich Swann make his presence felt? We will find out on the April 29 edition of IMPACT! on AXS TV.<\/p>\n

The eight-man tag match between Violence<\/strong> by Design<\/strong> and Chris<\/strong> Sabin<\/strong>, Eddie<\/strong> Edwards<\/strong>, James<\/strong> Storm<\/strong>, and Willie<\/strong> Mack\u00a0<\/strong>took an unexpected turn at Rebellion<\/em>. An injury<\/a> caused VBD leader Eric<\/strong> Young<\/strong> to remove himself from the match. Needing a replacement, VBD found a replacement for the match and a new member of VBD. As the match was about to start, Eric Young introduced the newest VBD member W. Morrissey<\/strong><\/a> formally known as Big<\/strong> Cass<\/strong>. Morrissey won the match for VBD, hitting the East River Crossing on Willie Mack to pick up the victory. After the match, he beat down Mack even further, with VBD looking on approvingly. He makes his IMPACT! debut this week’s edition of IMPACT! on AXS TV.<\/p>\n
