But this shouldn’t be the last we see of Jazz on a national stage. During her retirement ceremony, the IMPACT roster came out to show their respect for Jazz. This proved that she deserved to go out on top. It also showed that she is deserving of a bigger moment. Jazz is a former WWE Women’s Champion who retained her title against Trish Stratus and Lita at WrestleMania X8. She also held the NWA World Women’s Championship for 948 days.

Jazz was forced to retire after losing in her Knockouts Championship match to Deonna Purrazzo at Hardcore Justice 2021. As enjoyable as both the feud with Purrazzo and her tag team run with Jordynne Grace had been, Jazz still has more to offer and could be a huge asset somewhere with even more eyes on it — AEW. She could enter AEW as a manager and send shockwaves through the women’s division. Jazz is a legitimate legend that would bring intensity to AEW women’s storylines.

Jazz as a Manager Could Still Bring Major IMPACT

AEW has done a good job at using legends in the manager role with the likes of Jake Roberts, Arn Anderson, and Tully Blanchard all adding something to the superstars they accompany to the ring. Jazz would be the first woman to do it, helping elevate anyone on the AEW roster whilst getting her final moment in the spotlight.

She should make use of the “Forbidden Door” and bring Grace with her. The two already have a bond and good chemistry. Grace is a star that many have been hoping would turn up in AEW since its inception. Of course, Jazz has appeared at AEW’s All Out and Grace was part of the inaugural All In. The AEW women’s division is heating up thanks in part to Britt Baker and Thunder Rosa’s incredible match at St Patrick’s Day Smash. But, the emergence of Jazz and Grace could send temperatures sky high and get the whole wrestling world talking.

But, Grace isn’t the only option. Any woman in the IMPACT Knockouts division could accompany Jazz through the “Forbidden Door” but it would be interesting to see Jazz bring two of her IMPACT foes with her. She could bring Knockouts Tag Team Champions Fire ‘n’ Flava Kiera Hogan and Tasha Steelz to AEW. The pair lost to Jazz and Grace in the impromptu match that happened during Jazz’s retirement ceremony. It was the latest showing of disrespect of the legend by the tag champs and should probably be the last. They would be a good fit in AEW under Jazz’s watchful eye. She could hype up their ability and cite newfound respect for them. Jazz in the role of an experienced and tough manager who is always ready to throw down in the ring would be a great addition to AEW.

More from LWOS Pro Wrestling

Stay tuned to the Last Word on Pro Wrestling for more on this and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
