PROGRESS run their first chapter show since Chapter 55<\/em> at Alexandra Palace as they set off on the road to Wembley with things almost unrecognizable from the last time they ran the Ballroom and they return home with a really strong card featuring some new names and more indie stars.<\/p>\n

Match 1: Omari & Aussie Open(“Dunkzilla” Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) vs Connor Mills & Never Say Die (Alex Cupid & Dillon D’Angelo)\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

One of the more exciting matches on the card for any BritWres fan with 6 of the top prospects in the scene going head to head here.\u00a0 Omari and Aussie Open have been making waves in\u00a0Will Ospreay’s Lucha Forever<\/strong> and Mills and NSD are PROGRESS ProJo graduates with the NSD boys being future tag team champions in my eyes.\u00a0 This is the one to watch if you want to start getting into any of these guys at this younger stage of their career.\u00a0 I see a home win here for the ProJo guys<\/p>\n

Match 2: Strangler Davis vs Timothy Thatcher<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Almost certainly a number one contenders match for the ATLAS title.\u00a0 Thatcher will be looking to gain some momentum after losing in the three way title match at Chapter 55 while Davis is continuing his heel run.\u00a0 Expect hard hitting and a Davis win.<\/p>\n

Match 3: British Strong Style (Tyler Bate & Trent Seven) vs Sexy Starr (Jack Sexsmith & “The Product” David Starr)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The proverbial underdogs Sexsmith and Starr team up in what is certain to be a fun and entertaining tag team as they take on former champions BSS who will be looking to regain some momentum and build to an eventual rematch with CCK.\u00a0 I cant see the faces winning.<\/p>\n

Match 4:\u00a0<\/strong>Atlas Championship Match – WALTER (c) vs Wolfgang<\/strong><\/h3>\n

WALTER makes his first defense since regaining the Atlas title and it is an absolute dream match with WWE UK and ICW star Wolfgang in a match that will feature two of the best big man wrestlers in the UK with some immense athleticism from Wolfgang and the mean chops of WALTER.<\/p>\n

Match 5:\u00a0Women’s\u00a0Championship Match – Toni Storm (c) vs Charli Evans<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Toni Storm continues her fantastic reign as women’s champion against Evans.\u00a0 Evans is the latest in the long line of talented stars to emanate from Australia (such WWE’s\u00a0Emma<\/strong> and \u00a0NXT’s\u00a0Iconic<\/strong> Duo<\/strong>, Peyton Royce & Billie Kay<\/strong>)\u00a0and has been wrestling all over the UK and is booked for some upcoming shows with SHIMMER<\/strong>.\u00a0 Evans won the right try and dethrone Storm by winning a tournament PROGRESS held earlier this month.\u00a0 Storm has been putting on great matches and really helped get this division off the ground and I think she will continue her reign here.<\/p>\n

Match 6:\u00a0 Tag Team Championship Match – CCK (Chris Brookes & Kid Lykos) (c) vs Grizzled Young Vets (James Drake & Zack Gibson)\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This match is seemingly in doubt with Lykos being injured and may not be back for this show.\u00a0 If it goes ahead it will be CCK looking to make their first successful defense of the titles the have held twice.\u00a0 Their opponents are a newer team who have been racking up wins and impressing but we have seen Gibson put in the spot where he can absorb a loss to give the champion a credible first defense and I assume this is the roll he will fill here.<\/p>\n

Main Event: PROGRESS World Championship – Travis Banks (c) vs Keith Lee<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Banks looks to avenge his defeat from Chapter 53 as and defend his newly won title.\u00a0 His opponent is the monstrous Keith Lee in what will easily be the Match Of The Night, they will portray Banks as the underdog as he was portrayed against Pete Dunne<\/strong>.\u00a0 Banks will retain here and possibly move on to face the other man who beat him in the lead up to Chapter 55 the “BRO”\u00a0Matt Riddle\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Predictions:\u00a0<\/strong>Travis Banks to win and retain<\/em><\/p>\n

Once again PROGRESS brings us an exciting card as we make our first stop on the road to Wembley.\u00a0 Also announced is Pete Dunne<\/strong> dressing fans and management and as usual rumors of his leaving have popped up but either way it is destined ti be eventful.<\/p>\n
