ndie Watch is our regular series that looks at all of the amazing talents working the independent circuits around the world. Some are veterans revitalizing their careers, some are indie prospects hitting their peaks, while others are names to be on the watch for! In this edition, we look at one of the fastest rising stars in the vibrant Texas indie scene, Rok-C!<\/em><\/p>\n

The Texas independent wrestling scene has been spitting out some of the most talented women’s wrestlers on the entire U.S. indie circuit.\u00a0 Names like AQA<\/strong><\/a>,\u00a0Promise Braxton<\/strong>, and\u00a0Kylie Rae\u00a0<\/strong>have come through companies such as Reality Of Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>to refine their game.\u00a0 One of the newest names to gain notoriety in Texas with ROW is Rok-C,<\/strong> who at just 19, is already one of the most refined and promising unsigned talents in the U.S.\u00a0 Let’s take a look at the career to date of Rok-C.<\/p>\n

Rok-C Fulfilling Lifelong Dream<\/h2>\n

As shared by Rok-C on Instagram,<\/a> she had a brief cameo on Total Divas<\/em> at the age of just 13, where she stated that she was intent on becoming a “diva” in the future.\u00a0 She began training at just 13 years of age with the Laredo Wrestling Alliance\u00a0<\/strong>(LWA) before making her debut in April of 2016 on a Ladies Night event at just 14.\u00a0 Most of her early work came for LWA as part of Whatateam.\u00a0 At LWA, she notably trained under Daga,<\/strong> who many will know from his\u00a0IMPACT Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0AAA\u00a0<\/strong>runs.<\/p>\n

By 2018, she had begun attending Texas Wrestling Academy\u00a0<\/strong>(TWA) seminars and wrestled on their shows. Her schedule began to fill up with dates all around Texas by the end of 2018, competing for the likes of LWA, TWA, Heart Of Texas Wrestling,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Heavy Metal Wrestling<\/strong>.\u00a0 At the end of 2018, she got to have a personal dream match when she took on Kylie Rae in a singles contest on December 13th.<\/p>\n
