It’s already time for another episode of MLW<\/strong> FUSION<\/strong><\/em>, after the chaotic ending of last week’s episode that saw Contra Unit put a beat down on Injustice. Calvin Tankman<\/strong> ran out to make the save, putting the rising star on the wrong side of MLW’s most dominant faction. While the fallout from last week will be interesting to see, that’s not our focus. That spotlight is firmly set on the main event between one half of the MLW Tag Team Champions LA Park,<\/strong> as he takes on MLW National Openweight Champion Alex Hammerstone<\/strong>. Let’s dive into the card!<\/p>\n

LA Park is on a mission to collect all of the gold in MLW, and he looks to add the National Openweight Championship to his collection. Hammerstone<\/a> has been a fighting champion, but unfortunately for him, he’s also been battling MLW’s heaviest hitters and has taken more than his fair share of damage.<\/p>\n

It feels like every time we see Hammerstone defend the National Openweight Championship on a MLW FUSION<\/em> card, it could be the time where he loses it in order to move on officially to the heavyweight division. On the contrary, it feels like he will not only retain but will challenge Jacob Fatu<\/strong> to a title versus title match later this month at the recently announced Never Say Never<\/em><\/strong>. They’ve been heavily teasing the clash between them since the MLW reboot earlier this year, and the belief is the time is now for it to finally happen.<\/p>\n
