{"id":84564,"date":"2021-02-08T12:00:57","date_gmt":"2021-02-08T17:00:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/?p=84564"},"modified":"2021-02-08T07:26:28","modified_gmt":"2021-02-08T12:26:28","slug":"jade-cargill-aew","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2021\/02\/08\/jade-cargill-aew\/","title":{"rendered":"Jade Cargill Is Ready to Be a Star in Wrestling"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>When she debuted as part of an angle involving\u00a0<strong>Cody Rhodes\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Shaq<\/strong>, Jade Cargill immediately gained the attention of fans everywhere.\u00a0 Many were wondering who this impressive woman was, and why AEW chose her, a debutant, to be involved in such a big angle.\u00a0 Jade Cargill doesn&#8217;t have an extensive background in professional wrestling but her previous endeavors have prepared her to take the world by storm.<\/p>\n<p>Jade Cargill played Basketball in her younger years. She played for Sebastian High School in her first two seasons at HS Basketball, in her freshman season she averaged 16.3 points and 11.2 rebounds per game to earn her team&#8217;s MVP award and the conference&#8217;s Freshman of the Year award.\u00a0 Her second season with Sebastian went even better as she once again won her team&#8217;s MVP award, and found herself in the all-conference first team, and the all-state second team.\u00a0 Her final season at High School level was played at Vero Beach High School where her team not only won the district championship but she was team MVP and conference player of the year.\u00a0 She then went to college at Jacksonville University where she played for the JU Dolphins from 2010-2013.\u00a0 Despite being a skilled Basketball player Cargill didn&#8217;t have ambitions of playing in the WNBA and instead wanted to be a child psychologist<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"&quot;That Giant is the Real Star, SHAQ!&quot; | AEW Dynamite, 11\/11\/20\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/VJWcnD0FSys?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It was after her time in college that she became obsessed with the world of fitness, thanks in part to her being made to run as punishment from one of her coaches.\u00a0 She began to take a number of sports &amp; nutrition-based classes.\u00a0 This new-found fascination with the world of fitness, mixed with her master&#8217;s degree in Child Psychology led to her starting her own personal training business, Jade Cargill Fitness.\u00a0 She believes that fitness is more of a mental game than a physical one so her desire is to help find the mental strength to hit fitness goals as well as doing the physical work and dieting.\u00a0\u00a0As if running her own business wasn&#8217;t enough of a flex she is also a mother.<\/p>\n<p>Now if you&#8217;re thinking Cargill is just some athlete who was recruited to wrestle you would be wrong.\u00a0 Cargill has stated previously that she idolized <strong>Chyna.\u00a0 <\/strong>Cargill grew up as a muscular child and she loved seeing someone like her fight with the boys, something Cargill also did.\u00a0\u00a0<strong>Mark Henry\u00a0<\/strong>is someone that she sees as a mentor who has helped guide her as she originally trained under\u00a0<strong>Heath Slater\u00a0<\/strong>before moving to the\u00a0<strong>Nightmare Factory<\/strong> where she trains 4 to 5 days a week.\u00a0 \u00a0While<strong> QT Marshall<\/strong> is the main trainer here she also credits\u00a0<strong>Dustin Rhodes\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Serena Deeb\u00a0<\/strong>who have helped her grow as a performer, Deeb in particular received lots of praise from Cargill during her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=I3vae9czq1s\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AEW Unrestricted<\/a> appearance.\u00a0 She is now set to make her AEW debut on March 3rd when she teams with NBA legend\u00a0Shaquille O&#8217;Neal to take on Cody and\u00a0<strong>Red Velvet<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With her height, look, and dedication Jade Cargill is set to take the wrestling world by storm.\u00a0 To juggle a business, motherhood, fitness, and wrestling training all at once takes a special kind of person, and that is why Cargill will be a superstar in the world of wrestling.<\/p>\n<p><em>Stay tuned to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/\" target=\"_self\">Last Word on Pro Wrestling<\/a>\u00a0for more on this and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
