WWE continues to snap up independent talent from all across the world.\u00a0 After their acquisitions of\u00a0Cora Jade, Gigi Dolin<\/strong>, and\u00a0Zoey Stark\u00a0<\/strong>we figured they were done until\u00a0Sareee’s\u00a0<\/strong>class arrived.\u00a0 That was not the case as four new NXT UK signings have been announced.\u00a0 Joshi legend\u00a0Meiko Satomura\u00a0<\/strong>headlines this round and even appeared on the show yesterday.\u00a0 Let’s take a look at these newest signings<\/p>\n

Meiko Satomura<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Satomura is a performer who should need no introduction.\u00a0 A competitor in the Mae Young Classic she has wrestled and won championships all over the world.\u00a0 At 41 she isn’t going to be the same killer who combat legends like\u00a0Akira Hokuto\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Aja Kong\u00a0<\/strong>but she has still proven in recent years to be a top-tier wrestler.\u00a0 Satomura goes in to NXT UK with a track record of success as a former\u00a0PROGRESS <\/strong>Women’s Champion, Fight Club Pro <\/strong>Champion, the first-ever female KO-D Openweight Champion, former World Of Stardom Champion, and the 2016 King Of Trios winner to name but a few of her accolades.<\/p>\n

Lucky Kid\/Metehan<\/h2>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Metehan spent most of his time on the indies competing as Lucky Kid.\u00a0 Under that moniker he had his best run in Germany’s\u00a0Westside Xtreme Wrestling (wXw)\u00a0<\/strong>where he won their annual 16 Carat Gold tournament.\u00a0 He competed all over Europe for top indies like PROGRESS, FightClub: Pro,\u00a0RevPro UK<\/strong>, and even wrestled for\u00a0Pro Wrestling Guerilla (PWG)\u00a0<\/strong>in the USA.<\/p>\n

Tony Gill<\/h2>\n

Gill is likely most known for his run in\u00a0IMPACT Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>as part of the Desi Hit Sqaud, he was Gursinder Singh.\u00a0 The Lance Storm trainee has 5 years of wrestling experience under his belt and is now looking to make an impact in NXT UK<\/p>\n

Bailey Matthews<\/h2>\n

Bailey Matthews, the son of William Regal, has joined NXT UK.\u00a0 Matthews career so far has been tough to track down but it seems he spent some time in Germany in 2019 after working for\u00a0All Star Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>beforehand.\u00a0 Latest rumors were that he was interested in heading to\u00a0New Japan Pro Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>but he has now joined WWE and will represent Blackpool in NXT UK<\/p>\n
