The report states that Henry will be heading to Florida to become one of the latest trainees of the Performance Center as he prepares to debut on the <strong>NXT<\/strong> brand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Henry originally announced that 2020 would be his final year with plans to <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2020\/06\/25\/anthony-henry-announces-retirement-from-wrestling-at-the-end-of-2020\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">retire at the end of the year<\/a>. The 18-year veteran revealed on June 25 that wrestling was not what he once loved and that it was &#8220;not my identity.&#8221; Clearly, that notion by the 36-year-old has changed in the past number of months.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">I am happier without the darker side of the business. For years I was obsessed with professional wrestling. It was to the point that I didn&#39;t know who I was without it. Upon taking this break, I found out a lot about myself. He also became a mainstay in the World Wrestling Network&#8217;s group of promotions, including Gabe Sapolsky&#8217;s <strong>EVOLVE<\/strong> promotion <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2020\/07\/02\/report-wwe-acquires-evolve-wrestling\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\">that was purchased by WWE<\/a> in 2020.
