The new year has finally arrived, and 2021 is shaping up to be a great year in wrestling. There is no shortage of wrestling content to view on a variety of platforms. We believe IMPACT<\/strong> Wrestling<\/strong> is worth watching and is a promotion you should watch in 2021. Below you’ll find a few reasons why you should watch IMPACT in 2021.<\/p>\n

The Impact Knockouts Division<\/h2>\n

Anchored by IMPACT Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo<\/strong>, IMPACT has one of the best women’s rosters on US cable television. Rounded out by Havok<\/strong>, Jordynne<\/strong> Grace<\/strong>, Kiera<\/strong> Hogan<\/strong>, Nevaeh<\/strong>, Rosemary<\/strong>,\u00a0 Tasha<\/strong> Steelz<\/strong>, and Su<\/strong> Yung<\/strong> the IMPACT women’s roster has no shortage of talent. During Bound for Glory<\/em><\/strong>, it was announced that IMPACT would revive the Knockouts Tag Team Championships. The new champions would be crowned with a tournament<\/a> that started on the November 17th edition of IMPACT. The finals will take place at Hard to Kill<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>on January 16th. Havok and Nevaeh will be taking on Tasha Steelz and Kiera Hogan in the finals to crown the new champions.<\/p>\n

The Impact Tag Team Division<\/h2>\n

Current IMPACT Tag Team Champions Doc<\/strong> Gallows<\/strong> and Karl<\/strong> Anderson <\/strong>lead the IMPACT tag team division. They are in good company as they are joined by the Motor City Machine Guns, Ace Austin<\/strong>\/Madman Fulton<\/strong>, and XXXL, <\/strong>among others. Although Ethan Page<\/strong> is likely leaving the company and The North behind, IMPACT’s tag division still shows promise. Veteran teams like the Good Brothers and MCMG can lead the newer teams such as XXXL and Austin\/Fulton. Other notable teams on the roster include Reno Scum and Sami Callihan\/Ken<\/strong> Shamrock<\/strong>. Although losing The North will be a hit to the division, there is still plenty of solid teams that will make IMPACT worth watching in 2021.<\/p>\n

The X-Division<\/h2>\n

The X-Divison leads to some of the most notable moments in TNA\/IMPACT history. X-Division veterans Alex<\/strong> Shelley<\/strong>, Chris<\/strong> Sabin<\/strong>, Eddie<\/strong> Edwards<\/strong>, Eric<\/strong> Young<\/strong>, Daivari<\/strong>, and Rich<\/strong> Swann<\/strong> are active on the IMPACT roster today. The division is still capable of putting on high-flying, fun matches. Rohit<\/strong> Raju<\/strong> retained the title in a fast, fun, and high flying match against Chris Bey<\/strong>, Jordynne Grace, TJP<\/strong>, Trey<\/strong> Miguel<\/strong>, and Willie<\/strong> Mack<\/strong> at Bound for Glory<\/em>. Although staples such as; AJ Styles<\/strong>, Samoa Joe<\/strong>, Jay Lethal<\/strong>, and Christopher<\/strong> Daniels<\/strong> are no longer with IMPACT, it still has a strong core of athletic and high flying talent.<\/p>\n

AEW Partnership<\/h2>\n

Wrestling fans were shocked when Kenny Omega<\/a><\/strong> announced he was bringing the AEW<\/strong> Championship to IMPACT Wrestling with him. Over the next couple of weeks, Omega would appear alongside Don<\/strong> Callis<\/strong> on IMPACT. Initially just doing interview segments, it didn’t take long for Omega to get involved with IMPACT wrestlers. He reunited with former Bullet Club<\/strong> stablemates Gallows and Anderson to confront IMPACT World Champion Rich Swann and the Motor City Machine Guns. This has set up for a match between the two teams at Hard to Kill<\/a>.<\/em> The Good Brothers made their presence felt in AEW on the January 6th episode of Dynamite. They beat down Jon Moxley<\/strong>, marking the first time IMPACT stars appeared on AEW. 2021 should build upon and show the full potential of this working partnership. \u00a0<\/em>The working partnership between AEW and IMPACT is in its early stages, and we are excited to see where it goes from here.<\/p>\n

Many fans are excited about what IMPACT will bring to the table in 2021. These are just a few reasons why you should watch IMPACT in 2021. Pro wrestling has no shortage of options to watch in this era, and hopefully IMPACT can show it’s worth the two hours of viewing every Tuesday night.<\/p>\n
