\u30de\u30fc\u30d9\u30e9\u30b9\u30d7\u30ed\u30ec\u30b9 Marvelous (@info_marvelous) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/info_marvelous\/status\/1343534166239924230?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">December 28, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>KAORU debuted for\u00a0<strong>All Japan Women&#8217;s Pro Wrestling (AJW) <\/strong>in 1986 and became known as Kaoru Maeda.\u00a0 Her time in AJW was highlighted by her tag team with\u00a0<strong>Mika Takahashi\u00a0<\/strong>known as the honey wings.\u00a0 The team were high fliers with a lot of Lucha influence that made them high flying babyfaces.\u00a0 While in AJW Kaoru won the Japanese Tag Team Championships twice, both times alongside Takahashi.\u00a0 KAORU left AJW in 1991 to go to <strong>Federacion Universal De Lucha Libre<\/strong> (ULL) which gained her the opportunity to work in Mexico for <strong>CMLL<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"in\" dir=\"ltr\">AJW Tag Champions Honey Wings (Kaoru Maeda &amp; Mika Takahashi) November 14th 1990 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/zSkdZr3cbl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/zSkdZr3cbl<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; John\u300c\u3075\u308a\u30fcWiFi\u300d (@DK1105) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DK1105\/status\/945037453169131520?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">December 24, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>KAORU&#8217;s next stop would be joining\u00a0<strong>GAEA Japan\u00a0<\/strong>in 1995.\u00a0 It was here that she had her most high profile run.\u00a0 First KAORU represented GAEA against SSU as a babyface before she turned heel and became part of\u00a0<strong>Mayumi Ozaki&#8217;s\u00a0<\/strong>D-Fix group who were the top heel faction in GAEA.\u00a0 When GAEA shut down in 2005 KAORU became a freelancer and remained as such until 2015.\u00a0 During her time as a freelancer, she wrestled for a number of companies with her most notable run coming in <strong>OZ Academy\u00a0<\/strong>which is run by Ozaki and heavily featured nostalgic names like KAORU and <strong>Aja Kong<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>When Marvelous was set up KAORU joined them, once again aligning herself with a\u00a0<strong>Chigusa Nagayo\u00a0<\/strong>ran promotion, Nagayo ran GAEA.\u00a0 Ever since KAORU has been a regular in both Marvelous and\u00a0<strong>Sendai Girls\u00a0<\/strong>where she has been an invaluable part of the roster as a veteran presence.<\/p>\n<p>With 34-years under her belt KAORU has seen it all in professional wrestling and for our money is an incredibly underrated talent.\u00a0 Even as she got older she remained in fantastic shape meaning she could pull off some incredible athletic feats and most importantly she remained entertaining no matter where she wrestled.\u00a0 With her retirement, Joshi wrestling is losing an invaluable veteran and Joshi fans are losing a real talent who always made sure to bring her best.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Stay tuned to the\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"_e75a791d-denali-editor-page-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_self\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Last Word on Pro Wrestling<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> for more on this and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
