They soon revealed <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2017\/09\/19\/whatculture-whatexodus-c5-new-wcpw\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">they were launching their own pop culture site<\/a> in the vein of WhatCulture called <strong>C5<\/strong>. But the fate of <strong>WhatCulture Pro Wrestling (WCPW)<\/strong> was still left up the air. Live on PPV. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/RefuseToLose?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">#RefuseToLose<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/kriLdmRpvo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/kriLdmRpvo<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; DEFIANT Wrestling (@DEFIANTwres) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DEFIANTwres\/status\/914194366780121093?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">September 30, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been well over a year since we last saw Bennett in a wrestling ring &#8211; his final WWE appearance was April 4, 2016 in a losing effort to capture the WWE World Tag Team titles from <strong>The New Day<\/strong>, alongside his partner <strong>Sheamus<\/strong>, on <em><strong>Monday Night Raw<\/strong><\/em>. Earlier this year, he was a guest commentator for WCPW&#8217;s <em><strong>No Regrets<\/strong><\/em> iPPV, on the card that saw <strong>Joe Hendry<\/strong> brutalize <strong>Martin Kirby<\/strong> and capture the WCPW World Heavyweight title.<\/p>\n<p>But perhaps the biggest news of the day in regards to WCPW is that on December 4, 2017 the company will be rebooting and rebranding under a new promotion name, <strong>Defiant Wrestling<\/strong>. The announcement was made via a YouTube video that aired early this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"We Are Defiant.\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/zFHO5L9imJE?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The video features the voices of several of the departed WhatCulture contributors, leading many to assume that they have taken the wrestling promotion that they started with them, away from the WhatCulture property. On WCPW&#8217;s official website, it was also revealed that WCPW &#8211; soon to be Defiant Wrestling &#8211; would be moving its content, including all future iPPVs, to its own separate streaming service, beginning with the December 4 iPPV, <em><strong>WeAreDefiant<\/strong><\/em>:<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8220;A new dedicated subscription service for Defiant Wrestling will be launching as Access Defiant ahead of the WeAreDefiant PPV event on December 4.
