Greene would be officially announced as part of the &#8220;EVOLVE Class&#8221; in October &#8211; alongside <strong>Brandi Lauren, Curt Stallion, Leon Ruff, Joe Gacy,<\/strong> and <strong>Josh Briggs<\/strong> &#8211; and made his WWE debut (now <strong>August Grey<\/strong>) soon after on 205 Live. But Greene&#8217;s quick ascension to TV in WWE meant one small problem &#8211; he was the reigning Limitless World Champion for <strong>Limitless Wrestling<\/strong> in Maine, a title he had held for 397-days since defeating AEW&#8217;s <strong>MJF<\/strong> back in September of 2019. He retained in his final title match, against NWA&#8217;s <strong>Ashley Vox<\/strong> (of Team Sea Stars) on October 7&#8217;s episode of Limitless&#8217; series &#8220;The Road&#8221; on <a href=\"https:\/\/independentwrestling.tv\/search?q=limitless#\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IndependentWrestling.tv<\/a>, and soon after, relinquished the title. This meant that Limitless was now without a World Champion. To remedy that, Limitless announced that this year&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/independentwrestling.tv\/search?q=limitless#\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em><strong>Vacationland Cup Tournament<\/strong><\/em><\/a> would now be to crown a new Limitless World Champion. He debuted for Limitless in 2015 and has risen the ranks over the years, and after a couple of spot appearances throughout his career, he finally became a staple with <strong>Beyond Wrestling<\/strong> in 2019. In July of 2019, he made his <strong>Ring of Honor<\/strong> debut with a victory over <strong>Jimmy Preston<\/strong> at <em><strong>ROH Mass Hysteria<\/strong><\/em>, and in 2020, he made his <strong>Game Changer Wrestling (GCW)<\/strong> debut at <em><strong>For The Culture<\/strong><\/em> and <strong>Black Label Pro<\/strong> debut as part of this year&#8217;s <em><strong>TURBO GRAPS 16<\/strong><\/em> tournament (he lost out to <strong>ACH<\/strong> in the opening round).
