Unagi pinned Saki to win the titles.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; We Are Stardom (@we_are_stardom) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/we_are_stardom\/status\/1339161987587043329?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">December 16, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>This was Oedo Tai&#8217;s first defense of the titles and this is the second title run of Priestley&#8217;s to end without a successful defense.\u00a0 For Shirakawa and Unagi, this is their first title win since joining Stardom, for group leader Tam Nakano this is her third win of the trios titles.\u00a0 The Cosmic Angels have come into Stardom and immediately picked up some momentum which has helped Nakano recover from her losses to\u00a0<strong>Giulia<\/strong>.\u00a0 The angels are currently embroiled in a feud with STARS and\u00a0<strong>Mayu Iwatani\u00a0<\/strong>specifically as technically all three are in STARS but they also appear to be their own entity which hasn&#8217;t sat well with Iwatani.<\/p>\n<p>Oedo Tai didn&#8217;t let the Cosmic Angels have the last word as Priestley and\u00a0<strong>Konami\u00a0<\/strong>challenged\u00a0<strong>Utami Hayashishita\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Saya Kamitani\u00a0<\/strong>for the Goddesses Of Stardom titles, Priestley was actually goddesses champion earlier this year and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2020\/07\/20\/oedo-tai-vacate-goddesses-championships\/\" target=\"_self\">never lost the belts<\/a>.\u00a0 Still, this was the Cosmic Angels&#8217; moment as they hold gold for the first time as a unit.<\/p>\n<p>Stay tuned to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Last Word on Pro Wrestling<\/a>\u00a0for more on this and other stories from around the world of wrestling, as they develop.
