In a show that already featured multiple announcements on future events and the AJPW departure of <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2020\/12\/09\/yusuke-okada-leaves-ajpw\/\" target=\"_self\">Yusuke Okada<\/a>, we would also see the first AJPW Trios champions crowned.<\/p>\n<p>Trios Championships are a staple in Puroresu across the world, most notably in places such as <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2020\/12\/02\/beginners-guide-to-dragon-gate-champions\/\" target=\"_self\"><strong>Dragon Gate<\/strong><\/a>, <strong>New Japan Pro Wrestling<\/strong> &amp; <strong>DDT<\/strong>. In the middle of AJP Prime Night, we had a six-man tag team match featuring <strong>Black Menso-Re<\/strong>, <strong>Carbell Ito<\/strong> &amp; Takao Omori facing off against<strong> Revlon<\/strong>, <strong>Ryoji Sai<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Daimonji So<\/strong>. The winner of this match would become the first AJPW TV 6-Men Champions.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Takao Omori, Black Menso-Re &amp; Carbell Ito<\/strong> <strong>Win Trios Championships<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In this trios title match, Menso-Re, Takao Omori, and Carbell Ito won the Trios Championship by defeating Revlon, Ryoji Sai, and Daimonji So. This will mark the first time that Black Menso-Re has held gold since 2016, under the old name of Yohei Nakajima. This also marks the first championship that Carbell Ito has won, it is also Takao Omori&#8217;s first championship since 2018. With the new champions crowned, it&#8217;s currently unknown who the next challengers are.<\/p>\n<p>One of the smaller thing to note is that this is the first championship introduced for All Japan since the introduction of the GAORA TV Championship in 2012&#8230; with this new championship introduced, All Japan Pro Wrestling is going into the new year with major title matches such as <strong>Yuma Aoyagi<\/strong> vs. <strong>Suwama<\/strong> for the Triple Crown Championship and The Violent Giants facing off against <strong>Yuma Aoyagi<\/strong> &amp; <strong>Kento Miyahara<\/strong> for the World Tag Championship, and <a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonsports.com\/prowrestling\/2020\/11\/28\/all-japan-pro-wrestling-evolution-girls\/\" target=\"_self\">even a women&#8217;s division<\/a>.
