This weekend\u00a0Synergy Pro Wrestling\u00a0<\/strong>hosts the first-ever Women’s Garden State Invitational with a loaded bracket featuring\u00a0Holidead, Tasha Steelz<\/strong><\/p>\n

Holidead vs Riley Shephard<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In first-round action Twisted Sister Holidead takes on rising star Riley Shephard.\u00a0 Holidead has won a number of championships in her career both alone and as a tag team.\u00a0 In this match, she will be the favorite against Shephard who debuted in 2018 and has had some success but will be at a disadvantage against Holidead’s experience.<\/p>\n

Willow Nightingale vs Gabby Ortiz<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Gabby Ortiz had an interesting start to her career after training in part at the ROH Dojo.\u00a0 In her debut year, she spent time in Stardom\u00a0<\/strong>and wrestled names like\u00a0Mayu Iwatani<\/a>, Hana Kimura<\/a>, Hazuki,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0AZM<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>among many others.\u00a0 She takes on Willow Nightingale who has had success in a number of top US indies like\u00a0SHIMMER Wrestling<\/strong>, Beyond Wrestling<\/strong>, and even CHIKARA<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Tasha Steelz vs Erica Leigh<\/strong><\/h3>\n

IMPACT star Tasha Steelzs takes on Erica Leigh in this match between two performers who are rising stars in the wrestling scene.\u00a0 While Steelz has been in both NWA and IMPACT as a star Leigh has yet to break out despite taking part in the CHIKARA Young Lion Cup in early 2020.<\/p>\n

Trish Adora vs Jordan Blade<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This is set to be an absolute masterclass between Jordan Blade and the PAWD Champion Trish Adora.\u00a0 Jordan Blade is a powerlifter with some BJJ influence on her style.\u00a0 Her technical base will mix well with Trish Adora who can go on the ground too as a Grappler’s Guild alumnus.\u00a0 While this match will be technical Blade will have to watch out for the Lariat Tubman which has slain men and women alike.<\/p>\n
