In season four, he has come out victorious in singles and tag team competition alike. While he’s worked well alongside Mei Suruga as the tandem called Best Bros, it’s fair to say that Akki will be looking to make season five his own. Akki boasts a unique blend of strike-based and aerial offense, making the most of Ichigaya Chocolate Square to keep his opponents on their toes. On the first episode of ChocoPro season five, the star from Uttar Pradesh, India will take on a unique challenge.

Japanese pro wrestling fans may best know Antonio Honda from his work in Dramatic Dream Team. As a three-time DDT Extreme Champion and seventeen-time Ironman Heavymetalweight Champion, Honda’s unorthodox, oftentimes comedic antics have led him to success on multiple occasions. This has been true in ChocoPro as well. In season four, “The Dragon,” he picked up victories over Akki, Chie Koishikawa, Yuna Mizumori, and others. Needless to say, Honda is as wily as he is playful. With that said, Honda will be looking to avenge his showing from the previous episode of ChocoPro.

On episode seventy-two of ChocoPro, Honda teamed with Tokiko Kirihara to take on Best Bros. Despite the best efforts of Honda and Kirihara, the combined efforts of Suruga and Akki proved to be too much. Expect this featured match to showcase the unique fighting styles of both men.

ChocoPro #73 will air on December 19th at 10 AM JST (December 18th at 8 PM EST.)

It will air live on the Gatoh Move YouTube channel for free before being available for on-demand viewing afterward.
