It’s almost time for another episode of MLW FUSION, which means more of the Opera CUp’s opening round! This will be a can’t miss episode, as Contra is issuing a threat to all MLW champions. Time will tell what the unpredictable group will do, but for now, let’s take a look at this week’s match-ups!<\/p>\n

LAREDO KID VS ACH<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A bout sure to entertain, Laredo Kid and ACH will face off in their Opera Cup debuts. ACH was set to debut in last year’s Opera Cup but opted out for personal reasons. Both men are well-rounded veterans that tend to lean toward a high flying style. Regardless of the outcome, this match will be suuuuper!<\/p>\n

CONTRA’s Masked Mercenary Debuts<\/strong><\/h3>\n

CONTRA continues to grow with the addition of a new mercenary, who already made an impact by attacking Hammerstone<\/strong>.\u00a0 On this week’s MLW FUSION we will see the mercenary debut.<\/p>\n

DAVEY BOY SMITH JR. VS LOW KI<\/strong><\/h3>\n

A rematch from last year’s Opera Cup. Davey Boy Smith Jr. looks to once again reign victorious over former MLW World Heavyweight Champion Low Ki. Smith made it all the way to the finals in last year’s Opera Cup, defeating Brian Pillman Jr. with a crossface to become the 2019 Oper Cup Winner. He is also coming off a loss to MLW World Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu for the title, and it remains to be seen how this loss has impacted Smith. Low Ki is a 32 year veteran of the industry and should not be taken lightly. It’s easy to see either man moving forward to the next round, but I’m leaning towards Low Ki in this match-up.<\/p>\n
