C5 Is The New WCPW?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lastwordonprowrestling.com\/2017\/09\/19\/wcpw-loses-entire-management-team\/\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">As we reported earlier this morning<\/a>, the five principal players behind the success of pop culture site <strong>WhatCulture<\/strong>&#8216;s wrestling channel and eventually it&#8217;s pro wrestling promotion <strong>WCPW<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Adam Blampied, Adam Pacitti, &#8220;King Ross&#8221; Tweddell<\/strong>, video editor <strong>Sam Driver<\/strong>, and <strong>Jack &#8220;The Jobber&#8221; King<\/strong> &#8211; all left WhatCulture today, leading to all kinds of reports and speculations. So fair play.<\/p>\n<p>But after staying coy about the news (aside from retweeting the departure announcements by WhatCulture), it appears that one of The Departed Five has finally spoken. Or at least hinted at something.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Join us. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/m00QLBHssm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pic.twitter.com\/m00QLBHssm<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Adam Blampied (@AdamTheBlampied) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AdamTheBlampied\/status\/910218561922183173?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">September 19, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>While nothing else has been revealed as of yet, the growing speculation is that the five have broken away from WhatCulture to create their own independent wrestling promotion, away from the control of WhatCulture (and apparently their horrible boss) and that <strong>C5<\/strong> could be the new promotions name (fans on Social Media are already calling them the Culture Five).<\/p>\n<h3><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.prowrestlingsheet.com\/culture-wrestling-company-new\/#.WcGwrSMrJz8\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">According to the latest report<\/a> from <strong>Ryan Satin<\/strong> and <strong>Pro Wrestling Sheet<\/strong>, the five filed paperwork for a new company called <strong>Cultaholics<\/strong> (presumably what the C stands for) and they will be a video news channel, similar to WhatCulture. The files state that &#8220;the nature of their business is video production and news agency activities&#8221;. While it doesn&#8217;t mention a pro wrestling promotion, most assume that it would follow suit.
